Thanks man! Was being driven nuts as I couldn't pair these, 30s into your video I realised I hadn't set the codes to match - completely forgot! Great video.

Thank you for the great video. Could you please please do a tutorial on how to set up manual modes using the YNE3-RT transmitter, YN600EX-RT and Canon 600EX-RT? I have all three as they are compatible with Canon but I can't figure out how to use manual mode and there is not a single tutorial that teaches you.

Thank you for the review and tutorial. It was very helpful. I could not get my YN-E3-RT to synch with my YN600EX-RT. I had both set to ID 1. The problem, which you showed me the solution to, was that one was set to _001, and the other was set to 0001. The first digit was set to blank, which apparently matters. When I tried to set to 1234 is when I noticed. Thanks again.

Hi, thanks for your video. I have three of these and the transmitter. I can link the three lights with the transmitter, but, when I put the transmitter on my camera it does not fire the flashes. I can fire the flashes by hitting the fire button on the transmitter. What am I doing wrong?

if i mount my 600ex on the camera battery does not drain i get more than 400 shots n battery indicator still shows half remaining battery ..why is it so????
and why i cannot sync yn-e3-rt for 2nd curtain sync for exposure more than 2.5 sec ???

NEED HElP! I have the exact same flashes and trigger from Yongnuo, but here is my problem. When I try to set one of the flashes Manual and leave the rest in ETTL/TTL, my problem is that the ETTL are firing the flashes as it should be (judging brigness and such...a normal ETTL effect) but the Manual flash always only out puts 1/32 of the power when I fire the shutter, regardless how much I set the Manual exposure at (as in I can set the setting at 1/1 and it still outputs 1/32 light or if I set it to 1/128, it still outputs 1/32 amount of light. This is puzzling and annoying as I cant control Manual setting when im in Gr mode. Do you have the same problem or solutions?

Hello, can I use 2 YN-E3-RT together so that I can control the flash output from my Yongnuo YN600EX-RT II flash ? I would like to be able to change the flash output using one of these YN-E3-RT controllers. One will be on my camera, the other I use as a "remote" to change the flash output..... I want to do this for bracketed shots where I don't want my camera to move while it is on a tripod. I've tried many things and cannot get this to work. Is there a way to do this ? So to clarify, I want to be able to change the flash settings with the 2nd YN-E3-RT that I would be holding in my hand... this would send that flash output change to the main YN-E3-RT that is on the camera..... - is this possible ?

When I made the flash slave, both of their lights were red.

You would want to buy a set of ATG/Yongnuo YN622C II.
Then you will have a better ATG AF Assist Beam.
If will turbo your AF lenses even in total darkness.
Then you can park any flash on one of the YN-622C II to become ATG wireless radio ETTL II. And make all camera flash setting from the camera's flash menu.
A set has two transceivers = meaning can be a Master or Slave.
So if you have Canon 580EX II, 430EX II & ATG/Nissin, it becomes radio.

Not able to get modes to changes and reflect each other like he does in this video though.

Not unless you want to buy the ATG Gold MG8k Flash Kim X3.
      Flashes don't overheat not shutdown:
      1. ATG Gold MG8k Flash Kim X3
      2. Quantum QFlash (by ATG)
      3. Metz 60CT-4 (by ATG)
      4. ATG/Godox AD600, Profoto B1, Phottix Indra500
      5. ATG Gold 200ws, 400ws, 500ws, 600ws, 1,000ws, 2,000ws
Again, all Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus flashes overheat and shutdown.
      Canon 600EX II-RT and below = overheat
Nikon SB-910 and below = overheat
Sony HVL-F60M and below = overheat
If you shoot or need HSS or need a real working pro flash, then those five listed are not cheap.

And the top of the line transmitter from ATG/Nissin run:
      1. ATG Gold X is over $1,500.00
      2. Nissin Air10s is over $150.00

Something to consider, you can get 6 of these flashes for a single Canon equivalent. It sounds like you got a bad set too, a friend of mine has had 4 of these and the trigger for well over a year now and uses them quite regularly and they've been nothing but reliable. You just seem to have gotten the shtty end of the luck stick this time which sucks.
