Great job!!! In my kit, I added 2 collapsible funnels so my water bottles can collect water. I also would add a banana or shemagh (I have both in my kit). For food I would add either protein/snack bars, beef jerky/beef sticks, and maybe some candy as well. I'd keep a backup knife sharpener just in case, a backup flashlight, a solar charger, or power bank, usb batteries, a sillcock key, maybe a small hygiene kit, first aid kit, a small repair kit, and a few pairs of underwear and socks. Overall, you did an awesome job!!!

This is more like it. Different gear for the most part. More creative. Real knife too.

Oops! Forgot to mention the kit is missing a small FAK/Boo boo kit and insect repellant. I’m sure you could find room in the kit for those two items. Just my two cents worth! Thanks!
If you ever have room in one of your kits, instead of wasting water to cook even though you don't, I have a couple 2,400 calorie blocks with a small jar of peanut butter and honey for more nutrients than the food rations themselves. I have them in my bag but of course you have to rotate out the peanut butter.
@@lancepittman5066 That is a good amount of rations to carry around. No hate! I absolutely loved the devotion to making sure you have the calories you need to get yourself to safety. I have had ration bars in the past for this kit being as it is o would just add all of those to a secondary bag to go along with the main gear.
The Sawyer bags tend to crack. Plus you can't see in them. Get another. As a matter of fact mine cracked and leaked water in my bag before camping.
@@shaynehawkins713 thank you for the heads up. I just looked up alternatives, I will probably replace it with the cnoc vecto. I hate when that happens hopefully you didn’t have any down gear in the bag.
@@Ratherbeoutdoors2020 Yep. Pretty common with those bags cracking. I've heard of them. Sounds good.

@@Ratherbeoutdoors2020 Yep. Awhile ago. Like three one liter bags. With the liter bags you can use your Sawyer filter and two purification tabs making it super simple.

@Ratherbeoutdoors2020 I hadn't thought about it. Just thinking on the spot here....I mean you'd have to re-stock some inventory, but maybe look at your kit views and give away your most viewed kit? Maybe if u can find another company to send u something to give away? I don't know. If I think of anything, you'll be the first to know. 😉

I put a ranger band around my ferro rod and my Mora sheath. It's not going anywhere.
