    Sometimes, pilots have to use spoilers for descending or reducing speed faster; so, it's too normal

    I think it’s very cool how the flap design is pretty much just like the McDonnell Douglas DC 10. I compared the designs of the two planes regarding the landing flaps system, and they are pretty much identical. I think bombardier ripped off McDonnell Douglas due to the very successful design of their landing flap system on their planes

      I mean they were pretty much descending on out so they might’ve been going little fast tho who knows. Lol lM

      @@shivpatel5413 flying into JFK depending on the arrival is tough to descend and they normally want you at 250kts. One arrival brings in super high and then you've got to get down for approach. So the full speedbrakes and idle power is shat you need otherwise you'll bust 250kts below 10,000ft if you don't want speedbrakes on the CRJ you won't be descending fast enough for NY Approach.

      JFK famous for keeping jets way fast until the last second so this is everyday there. They had to slow to 250 before 10,000. The double chime at 3:35 is done when passing through 10,000’
