This man was able to express how I feel about what is often overlooked, what reality should be defined as, and what is most important. Of all the famous people out there, I'd love to speak with Duane Michals.
Duane Michals openly shares insight interweaving text, photography, buddhism, and spirituality. A body of work in a series of exposures of light presenting the ghosts of deep emotion. A very progressive mind, vulnerable edge free thinking, courageous and aware. Remember this interview was in the 80's ...this is a gem ..a once in a lifetime unique message of an evolutionary artist and person.
"The only way I've ever grown is when all of my definitions have been contradicted." This is an interesting statement, especially when paired with his statement that his truth is the only truth he has to go on..
Too many cuts in this clip. Get a sense he's about to expand on a subject where he taps into his creative mind and he is cut off. She is a tad rigid here. Would love to see whole interview. ;-})

I love his ideas. He seemed like a prick the first few minutes... but after that his words were very inspirational.
