I think that WINNER is somehow really unique, although they are from YG, they are very different bcs of their concept. - Both rappers are great, Mino has his solo stuff, one of the best rappers of this generation, he was 2nd place in SMTM4, he's also a painter, a model, a variety shows genius, his selfmade album XX topped the charts when it came out, and yes a lot of people compare him to GD, the 2 are label mates and friends. WINNER is a self composed group, ever since debut the leader SEUNGYOON and the main rapper MINO have been the main lyricist & composer for almost all the group's songs with almost every title track charted All-Kill no. 1 in South Korea.
MINO is about to comeback with his solo songs, and SEUNGYOON is debuting with a solo album probably by end of the year (hopefully) so you should totally check them out!!

Their songs are always loved by the public.

Fact: YG Ent originally is a house for rappers that's why their songs differ from other kpop idol songs. But Winner was supposed to be a ballad group from this company. YG wanted to have a group like 2AM.
