- Man Kunto Maula is the first track from Abbas Ali Khan's Sufi Synthesis Project.
This track is originally a Qawali by the famous Sufi Poet Hazrat Amir Khusro (RA) based on a popular hadith of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) meaning "Whoever accepts me as a master (maula), Ali is his master (maula) too."

the truth is that Man Kunto Maula is not owned by anyone, over years after Hazrat Amir Khusro different Qawals have been paying their tribute by doing their versions of this Qaul and every version had a unique vibe. NFAK's version was amazing but that doesn't make abide Parveen's, sabri brothers and recently Fareed Ayaz qawal's version any less

The most beautiful notes, composition, tune, and most importantly the beautiful lyrics. I hope you continue to make these amazing styles of music, which just takes the listeners to another world. If you you are a Sunni, then in that case, you are the most prominent Shia. Shia stands for "friend" in Arabic. Shia is referred to as Shia-e-Ahl-e-Bayt (Friends of the household of the prophet (saw) ). If you follow the Sunnah then you must be aware of the Hadeeth of Rasool (saw) in Sahih Bukhari- "I'm leaving amongst you two things - The Quran, The Ahl-e-Bayt, The Ahl-e-Bayt, The Ahl-e-Bayt!"
His stress on the Ahl-e-Bayt was for a reason. Don't allow it to get lost. :)

The qawali that you listen to now is sung with harmonium which was invented in 1842 in Paris by Alexadre Francios Debain there was no harmonium at khuro's time so does that mean all who are singing qalwali with instruments that were not present at khusro's time are distorting the original form ?
if yes then this includes all the qawali recordings present today
