If i were to choose anyone to call the modern day mozart in terms of being able to take any song and make it their own, it goes to tom. Though even though he is a musical king, he is very humble and it genuinely feels like he plays for fun rather than fame. He loves to play for the people that watch him and even in other performances you can see him just being happy to play. When he duets with people he has no short of fun adding to his music and laughing about it. Such an amazing guy. I hope he does recover fully one day though it is unlikely…
Awesome! Best rendition of the piece, gotta love Tom Brier!
There aren't enough fingers to play this. I'm convinced Tom Brier made a deal with the devil to play this well
If you thought this was difficult, you should check out my transcription of Tom playing his 'Blue Lampshade'...
No he made a deal with the beast
@@Bone_Chaser and now he's a tree
@@joon_jeong Which version of lampshade, or did he just wing it? :-D :-D
I've been looking for this forever. You just earned a sub
same i’ve wanted to learn this ever since he first improvised it like 4 years ago! i’m literally so excited to learn it!!!
This is definitely one of the most beautiful Tom Brier improvs, I'm so glad that you transcribed it!
Thank you for making this im gonna try and learn it for Christmas
What a fantastic work. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for this!
this is awesome, thanks for sharing
for those who consider this unplayable, you can still play it you just have to edit some things on your own
It's playable note for note, the note lengths are just not playable xD
@@PiotrBarcz yep, just use the peddle and you’ll be fine
@@dolorescasasdearmas8993 Yeah I know, I made my own tutorial with the same midi but I humanized it with more natural note lengths.
@@PiotrBarcz omg i just checked it out, you did a beautiful job playing, thanks for the update 🎹💕
@@dolorescasasdearmas8993 You're welcome, the sound was made with the original midi to give the impression of sustain pedal being used hahaha
can this be on spotify pls :)
Nice dude
👏👏👏
How do you improve upon perfection? Well by having a little fun with it of course

I have my own Synthesia video of this, it has direct download links for the MuseScore file and midi.
Um is this a duet? or...
It's Tom's solo performance.
@@joon_jeong It looks like I need 3 hands though..
@@pankaeyk You could watch Tom play it himself: ruclips.net/video/vZ_n5fAltX8/видео.html
@@joon_jeong oh ok thx
@@pankaeyk Some notes in the MIDI file are held where in reality the hands moved from one note to the next while the notes were sustained with pedal.
