You don't need to throw Christmas puddings away . You can keep them years after sell by date. The longer you keep them . The better they get . X

Hi Claire, re the old Christmas puddings enroute to the bin, note my mum made christmas puddings a good year before we ate them, all made in glass bowls with parchment paper wrapped and tided on top, she said a year with the fruit and booze in made them good and mature puddings to eat, improving flavour, and they were tasty. I have had old supermarket Christmas puddings in backs of cupboards like you and on cooking and tasting they were voted okay, there is alot of fruit and sugars in them which helps storing and matures as it ages. If not in bin I would try one for a laugh, with icecream, my guess is its probably okay to sample. Cheers for ace vlogs Dougie

Hi. I have one question a why do you keep your apples and satsumas I the fridge? Also one advice- you Shouldn’t keep tomatoes in fridge but in the counter/ table and you will have a lot more space in the fridge.

I find apples go soft if they're not in the fridge, and the satsumas say fresher in the fridge. My kids are so particular about their fruit and won't eat a remotely soft apple. Ah yes, I have heard that about tomatoes actually! Xx

Really enjoyed this video and really hungry now. Hubby just had to reinforce our tinned food cupboard on our wall so thinking maybe need to rearrange and put tins in a bottom cupboard. So good to see you all home safe and sound. Have a lovely day, look forward to the next video xxx

Oh wow, that's not many cupboards, is it it! I could do with more cupboards tbh, but however many you have, you'll always fill them won't you! Xx
