    The 891 is an absolute beast of an impact wrench. It's currently the most powerful mid tourqe on the market by far. Nothing else even comes close.TTC tested it. cool video sir.

    Good stuff. I got one myself. I use it as my go-to every day use gun in a shop environment. Lug nuts, axle nuts, subframe bolts, shocks and so on. had it about 8 months so far, works perfect and not a single issue with it yet. It's pretty much replaced my big Mac MWP151, which just sits there now. It seems to have nearly the power but is much lighter and easier on the hand. I think you made a good purchase.

    Just picked one up for 150 quid. Can’t wait to use it. So much lighter than the 899 I use at work.

    Love my 891. You'd probably get a kick out of the compact monster I made by exchanging the 1/4" hex collet in the super stubby DCF850 with a 3/8" anvil and that thing rips off lugs without any problem too. But it's like 4 inches long, lol... I made a small video. You'll want to make one after you see it, if you like compact size at least.

    When Santa(Wifey) asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told her the DCF892 and I know for a fact that she got it. Now I can't wait for Christmas! DCF892 is same as DCF891 except it's ball detent instead of hog ring.

    I bleed red. Everything I have is Milwaukee. However. My dads dewalt max 20v has been collecting dust in a spare toolbox, an I have expanded into a second location for my business. I took the dewalts there an have been using them again an I kinda missed them lol. I ordered the 891 an can’t wait to try it out.

    Trying to decide between this and 900. For brake and suspension and general auto work. I don’t want t on be under powered but also this one is smaller for working in suspension. Seems like this should be plenty for even rusty older trucks ? Just tryed the atomic stubby. It’s nice but not strong enough

    Are you still using this or did you switch to the DCF921 (the little tiny baby thing that produces a zillion foot pounds of torque for its size)? I am trying to decide if I should buy the small micro model DCF921 sub compact 1/2" or the big burly DCF891?

    Hey I just got this impact wrench and tried the precision wrench mode on a wheel bolt it overtightened past the torque spec. Did this happen to you ? One of the reasons I bought it was for this function and if it overtightens the wheel bolts imagine using it on suspension and brakes, it's completely useless for me.

    • @stangculture
      @stangculture  Год назад

      It has not happen to me. But then again, Precision wrench mode doesn't Torque it to specs. It just helps you not over tighten it.

    • @guilhermeg345
      @guilhermeg345 Год назад

      @@stangculture well I just said it overtightened a wheel bolt so it will overtighten almost everything on a car. I was expecting a simple snug, as I saw on some videos, so I could sit every bolt to fully center the wheel before torquing with a torque wrench.

    • @stangculture
      @stangculture  Год назад

      @Guilherme Did you hold the trigger down? Usually it wants to stop itself when it gets to a certain point

    • @guilhermeg345
      @guilhermeg345 Год назад +1

      @@stangculture I hold it but subconsciously let off the trigger as soon as it stops. I can't loosen a bolt by hand without some effort. It makes me wonder why DeWalt called this precision wrench mode using the full beans of the mode 3, it would be more logical using mode 1 speed as it would be more precise so to speak. I'm going to just use speed 1 to snug the bolts. I'm still happy with it, it took off the wheel bolts on my car instantly. A bit overkill for my needs as I expected, was going to buy the 921 but ended up buying this instead.
