@DesolaterBrandon Very good opinion. But I think that he smiled at the end because he was happy to be able to save people, like he used to do. And All for One hates his smile, so All Might wanted to use it to distract him for as long as he could.
Legitimately Putting THE hands on the strongest Quirk user in their absolute Peak while quirkless, missing half your respiratory system with nothing but technology is Genuinely crazy ngl Almight is the goat
Keep in mind, this story talked down the idea of going Iron Man, in part due to the gap between tech and quirks, and in part due to the intense resource demand. All Might took every bit of good will he built as the symbol of peace to obtain this armour, and then used it in a fight where he knew he'd be at a disadvantage. Why? Because he was there.
all might basically used every last piece of his fortune as a hero to speed past the time it would have take to build since hehad help from the shield family.
Dude , it's not a talking down , it is just an homenage. Of course Iron Man is not a realistic take , the entire Iron Man Gimmick is dependent of super-genius people with a highly-powered energy source and hyper-advanced technology. Marvel and DC have super-genius people that made prototype of space carriers and space watchtowers , or the Arc Reactor. It is still hyper AF to see "Iron Might" , because for as crazy as MHA goes , it doesn't go as high as Marvel/DC , and thus to make Iron Might had far more difficulty than presented on those two universes.

Armoured All Might is one of my favourite moments as a manga reader, with Horikoshi making all kinds of inking flexes and essentially melding the aesthetics of Iron Man, Batman and All Might together as one. Sorry that my wording was misleading.

Possibly my favourite moment in manga and anime of all time. What outstanding resolve despite his weakened state and without a quirk. We see the true grit and determination of the symbol of peace. Amazing! Love this backing track, really makes me feel emotional watching my favourite hero in his moment of absolute defiance against evil 🙏
I absolutely adore how even without his quirk, All Might still smiles when he is in that suit. He still wants to be the man to let people know everything is okay.
Man I love this episode so much, I think it might be my favourite episode of mha ever. I love All Might’s character and he’s probably my 2nd favourite only next to Bakugo. Some forget, All Might didn’t become the symbol of peace because he got OFA, he got OFA because he wanted to be a symbol when no one else wouldn’t and this episode shows exactly why. Even without a quirk, pushing the age of 50 and effectively retired, All Might is still giving it his all to continue fighting and save others

Bleach and Naruto suffered tremendously from this, when i was a kid and started watching anime. Now it's 2024 and it's not going to get better. Some animes are exceptions, but I won't count Boku no as one of them. The animation is decent, but it could be miles more better with today's tech and resources. Time, money. Put it into the art and you can create something lasting.
The music perfectly compliments the mood you see while watching this fight. Excitement with a hint of concern and sadness, leaving us all eagerly awaiting the last season.
All might fights are always in the top ten of mha fights. First fight with nomo in season 1 and round 1 with afo in season 3 and now round 2 in season 7
Lowkey All might is just PEAK HEROISM at this point, the aura that he gives with just a suit and not even a quirk is unmatched !!! He has spent his whole life fighting Evil and he deserved a quiet retirement but even then , he still chooses to give whatever left of his life to protect the world and his student. That Quirkless boy turned into the best super hero ever
And deku fallowing his foot steps the 2 ex one for all and yet survive all for one and now deku will use a swuit similar to all might making sure deku still be the heroe he know and will become

There feels like there is a lesson to learn from all-might: make your quirkless successor eat a strand of your own hair to gain more quirks so you can basically gain your own iron man armor that can face off against a whole different version of all for one

MANGA SPOILERS YOUVE BEEN WARNED If All Migth could do all this insane stuff with his suit. You know a skinny man in his late 50s missing a stomach and is quirkless. Then Imagine what a Deku could do since he's a lot younger, smarter and in far better shape and with a vastly improved version of the suit. Even without OFA Deku will be menace.
he basically pulled all the favors the world owned him to get it, and it was developed to be used as a suicide asset against the biggest treath ever. While Deku's is gonna be impressive, it's likely not the default capabilityies of his suit.
@@Zankyo137 it took deku 8 years to finally get his iron suit built, so more than likely he made suit have similar capabilities to when he had all his previous quirks.
@@Zankyo137 All Might's suit was also a rush job without safety checks accounted for and this is with tech advancement of 8 to 6 years as well. It doesn't need to be as overkill but its prolly quite the weapon as well
All-might is having the time of his life. Best character in the show by far. The greatest disappointment is that we know All-might won't be the one to stop All For One. I originally thought All-might would end All For One when he lost his powers, and then it would be Deku vs shigaraki, but I guess the writer didn't think shigaraki was a good enough replacement. As a result it feels like all 8 seasons are ultimately just about beating All-might's greatest enemy. A new generation of heroes finishing what All-might almost did alone. Which is pretty bleak. Deku needed a small army of powerful heroes backing him up to do what All-might almost did alone.

This reminds me of Ironman.
I loved that most of his moves are based on class 1a attacks and quirks. He had the next generation of heroes in mind to help him fight all for one.
I'd like to think it's the authors way of showing how not only did deku learn from all might, but that all might has now learned from deku

Deku should have gotten the suit as a graduation gift. I'm okay with the ending but I still feel it doesn't add much to the story.
