Looking at their past tour history, they did a 3 month European tour in 2019 with Volbeat. I could see this as the band in question. Bar Rock and Baroness doesn't seem to great a combo.
I saw them on that tour and the crowd reaction in Amsterdam didn't seem that bad at the time. The blew Volbeat out of the water with both their music and stage presence.
I was at the Cologne gig of Volbeat (with Baroness as opener) and this is where i became fan of Baroness (didnt know them before). Then i saw them having a double headliner in The Netherlands with Kvelertak and that way i came to know Kvelertak. So thanks Volbeat (not listening to them anymore lol)
Apart from being a great guitarist (I was introduced to her via the various Two Minutes To Late Night covers), Gina Gleason just seems like a genuinely good person... I'll always check out interview clips and gear rundown videos with her. \,,,/
@@JohnRoberts-ek3pp I went to one the shows on that LoG tour where Baroness opened and the crowd was either pretty receptive or indifferent, I didn't see a lot boos or jeers or anything. Might have been a shitty city though if it was on that tour
@iRock613 You're probably right. I remember another interview where they talked about it being a bit difficult to tour with Lamb because they "didn't match their energy" of the band or the crowd.
Gina is a great story teller. Also Baroness rocks!
Excellent band. Perhaps my favourite current band out there 🤘🏾🧡

I agree - I saw them in Glasgow for that tour. Complete mismatch. I left after Baroness.
Baroness is the most underrated band on the planet

She is a great fit for this band. Great guitar player. Awesome woman.

So funny! Please come back to New Zealand!
Real cool meeting her at hellfest 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼great show afterwards!
The tour has to be Maiden.
Be nice to musicians. Shit is hard man! They seem so down to earth and cool.
John always got great style 🖤
What band did they open for?
Probably Lamb of God

Gina and millie bobby brown seem like they could be sisters
Baroness was most likely way better than any of the bands they opened for.
I'm geussing this was the tour with Volbeat.
i was curious about that. checks out. Volbeat are fucking awful.
Volbeat will never headline a 40000 people show.
My guess is Maiden.
@@regno78 why would you say something factually wrong? No, Volbeat was headlining shows in Front of 40k already 8 years ago..
@@PrimoSchnevi what show was it?
Pretty sure Gina is a fan of bands like Maiden from the merch she wears. My vote is she's talking about volbeat, which is, surprisingly, a big band.
Gina Gleason great guitar
