Thats a good system. I wanted to light up my city for a while but was having trouble finding the right LEDs. I lit up my castle MOC with some light up bricks that are connected to usb but it didn't seem feasible to do that with every building and the light up bricks are a bit expensive. Are the fairy lights you use very costly? Also how long do the batteries last? Battery powered LEDs seems easier to deal with than usb ports but also might be a hassle to replace them if you have alot.
These are the lights that I use: a.co/d/7P3qx11. They come in a pack of 12 and include some spare batteries in the box. In my city, there are some buildings where I installed these lights close to 2 years ago, and they still work great!
Wow that’s amazing
