I have 30 years of experience as a Chef in Indian and Indo-Chinese Cuisine!I have even worked in ‘Bamboo Garden’ a well known Chinese Restaurant in U.S.A too,and I am sure none of the Chinese dish will be tasteful,without a pinch of Ajinomoto (MSG),believe me!
That's like going to an Indian and saying "I bet you can't make a good curry without using heavy cream or ghee". Every traditional food (from ALL cultures) was meant to be tasty without any harmful/unwanted ingredients added to it - it's too bad the restaurant industry has compromised authenticity and quality for cheap ingredients and lazy cooking. That's the reason it's not advised to eat out all the time. That's the reason nothing beats a homemade meal. I am sure you add MSG to everything in the places you've worked in, but please don't say "I am sure none of the Chinese dishes will be tasty" without it - it's an insult to their culture.
