Photshop has so many ways of doing the same thing. I like how you take the broad topic of sharpening and explore the various options to achieve it. Great video.
I love that my first search brought me to your tutorial, I have a ton of flowers photos from my aunties house in Maui and this is exactly what I needed to make her a photo book with the best possible images, I think I like the unsharp mask and being able to save a preset made me smile, the high pass filter is really great and sharpening with the brush tool for select areas it s awesome. Mahalo for your wonderful video. I appreciate the ease in which I understood you and your knowledge. Mahalo for your wonderful video!
Fantastic tutorial - very well presented with plenty of detail and helpful information. Everything explained nice and clearly. Thanks for sharing. 🙂 You are a very polished presenter. 👍🏻
This is such an excellent video. It's a nice pace which is needed when learning photoshop. The explanations are clear and precise. Always top notch learning.
I never use that tool TBH which is why I didnt mention it. I prefer the other options, but theres many other opinions to have on that which are all valid. Just use whatever tool you prefer most after testing 👍🏻
Excellent video. Your explanations are very clear. Thank youi.

Hey Brendan. Could you make a video how do you export your photos from Photoshop? For Instagram more specifically. Thank you for your videos.
Thanx buddy keep helping people
No problem 🙌🏻
This is lovely
For the high pass one I did what u did but when I hit linear light it stayed as grey
I have old version CS5, could I get same results?
I am not totally sure whats different between CS5 and now in regards to sharpening. You’ll just have to play around to see what things are the same.
Thanks
Thank highpass I like
What about 3rd-party sharpening and noise reduction tools like Topaz, ON1, and Luminar Neo, Brendan?
Ive used Topaz and Neo but I tried to keep to the tools already built into Photoshop for this one! That way everyone has access to the same tools.
I only tried #3 and #4. They did not work for me.
I didn't watch all the way to the end but it's important to never do any sharpening until you've resized the image to your final output size.
You forgot the sharpen tool :?
I never use that tool TBH which is why I didnt mention it. I prefer the other options, but theres many other opinions to have on that which are all valid. Just use whatever tool you prefer most after testing 👍🏻
So talkative!
why isn't there an AI solution yet !?! ( from Adobe )
