She will be amazing. I think I remember Crystal saying that a few months back Ariana went to ask if something happened to them if she could be the guardian from the younger kids
Ariana- if you buy a larger container of milk, put half of it in the freezer, and when the portion in the refrigerator gets low, pull the other half out of the freezer and thaw it out. Less expensive than buying smaller bottle’s frequently and no waste.

Our family never spoke about "It" either Crystal. I never got the "Talk" from my parents. When I was 39 yrs old & my boyfriend & I were visiting my Mom. When it was bedtime, my Mom was getting blankets ready to give my boyfriend so that he could sleep on the couch. I told her that he was sleeping in the bedroom with me. She stopped & stared at me & she said, "Well, I hope you're using protection." I thought to myself," Omgosh, I think I just had the "Talk." Lol
You family never ceases to amaze me- in a good way! The amount of love and care and intentionality you all put into everything is more than inspiring. You make so many sacrifices (big and little) that most people would never even think of... It's beautiful! You are all so lucky to have each other 🥰
Ariana- you are a ROCK STAR sister! You were left hanging out with Aurora (while your parents took a quick trip) a few years back. Huge support system between all the Keep it Crazy families.
Crystal, i laughed so hard at your moms reaction! My parents eloped at 18. Baby at 19. Many of their family members were not supportive at all. My paternal grandfather and family friends gambled on how many years their marriage would last. They will celebrate 46 years this May 7 and May 12th…lol that a funny story for another time! 😂
I became a mom at 17, lost my father 6 weeks later. My Mom, almost helped and supported me TOO much. I didn't really become "A MOM" until I was about 20. She watched my son all the time and let me do whatever. I regret so much being selfish with my time and not being there for my son at the time. It is very challenging being a teen mom. Not everyone is ready to put someone else ahead of themselves. Then I became a Gramma at 40. Life is amazing!
Our pediatrician was AMAZING when it came to those talks and was so up front. My kids always wanted me in the room but when it came to that part, I always asked the kids if they wanted me to exit. Thankfully, they wanted me to stay and were open to the doctor's advice 💜
I think Ariana would be an amazing mom and I love that she has you guys to help her with. And I also agree with her about wanting to keep her nephew with his family. And I also agree with her about having an even amount of children.
I have followed your channel for years and really hope Ariana finds her nephew and can get full custody of him. You have a heart of gold Ariana and you would manage to raise him well especially with the help of your Parents and siblings he would certainly know the meaning of love . ❤
one thing about being a parent... you are never really ready !! I def. think u would do an awesome job. I really hope you can find him... keeping you in our prayers.
I really appreciated this podcast and the honesty of your journey in creating this family. Also Ariana I get this horizon milk it’s organic and it last longer than typical milk. I don’t drink a lot but sometimes I need it so I highly recommend
I love how you guys adopt and foster! I think it’s really important that everyone should have a second chance for a family. I love that Ariana is on the podcast! 👏 Happy birthday Hannah!
I hope you can find Ariana’s nephew. I know if any of my family needed me I would foster and adopt them. It would be hard being young but so worth it for him to be with his family.
I really wonder about the concept of moving out in the US. Typically, we stay home until we absolutely have to (maybe work takes us to a different location or getting married). I think I like our concept better as it allows the young adult to continue to mature whilst still under the guidance of the parents.
Hey guys, I am so glad Ariana wants to help it shows how lovely she is though I feel she is not ready she just left college, and her boyfriend this shows she is still learning and can't commit to anything now. Love
I'm a kinship worker for cps in South Dakota. I knew each state has a different system, but it is so crazy to me that even within your own state it's hard to track him down! In south Dakota our offices can request assistance from one another but we all share one system. So if I were to get a call regarding a child that our town didn't have, I would still be able to figure out who the child is assigned to. Hopefully you find him! I know you weren't intending to be a mom so soon, but watching you guys through the years I know you would do amazing regardless of age!!
I know Ari can do it if she wants. I just hope she thinks about it heavily and doesn’t jump to it. A child is a huge commitment and once the adoption is finalized, there’s no backsies.
love the podcast but can I suggest turning up the volume , I found the ads were so much louder than the podcast itself....in fact I had to crank the volume on my speakers to hear what was being said
My daughter (18 yo) worked in a grocery store she knew I was coming to bring her lunch. When I got there she was standing there with her BF they were so nervous but told me she was pregnant.....I didn't act all crazy or anything then they asked why I didn't yell at them....I said if I yelled would it make her not be pregnant? I just said you can't unring a bell! That favorite grandson of mine is 25 yrs old. He's my only grandson she also has 3 daughters. Love them more than life!!!
I think it is a so sweet that Ariana wants to adopt her nephew however I think she needs to really think about it before taking on the huge responsibility l. I personally could see how it could be a lot especially with now taking on the role with Jamie.
Ariana no one will ever be really prepared to be a parent but u have great support and help... also praying God will guide u on the right solution... blessings
Having a child is a huge responsibility, you would have to give up a lot to provide for your nephew. Think about everything you want to do with your life in the next few years and then add a child onto that and see if it makes sense to you. You do have a huge family and lots of support both physically and financially so that’s really helpful. But I think you should also consider your sister in all of this, you definitely would need to talk to her about it and see how she feels and if she would be allowed to see her child at all and all the feelings that she would have about this decision. I understand your nephew was taken away for a reason but your sister still has feelings too and he will grow up and ask about her one day. Lots to think about for Ariana but I can see how big her heart is for even considering this and I truly hope the best for her nephew!
Max, I have made 3 cross country trips by car in the last 35 years. East to west. West to southeast. East to northwest. Enjoy. Next up is to the north.
Great podcast! Good luck with the guardianship of your nephew Ariana. I was a teen mom too (and a rare workout relationship 17 years later) and I had 3 cousins in foster care. I was looking into getting them but at 18 with a child and different stated it would have been hard. I found out a few months later that they were in a home together that wound up adopting them all which made me very happy even though we were not allowed contact.
Here in The Netherlands doctors need to have permission from the kids after the age of 16 to tell parents about their visit. It doesn’t matter what happend (big or small medical stuff). I can imagine some kids not wanting to share every personal detail, some parents are not all that open in communication about sex, stds and all that stuff. Having a place to go and ask the question you want to ask without having to be scared your parents having an opinion the second you come home is in my opinion really good. The best case is still being able to ask your parents everything and having that open communication but unfortunately thats just not the case for everyone
In TX any child over 14 that are pregnant, can limit their parents involvement. They can get testing and treatment without their parents. It amazed me the find this out.
Don’t worry Ariana! I was like that too where I felt like a loser not being picked but I went for American idol. I hope you change your mind and keep on attempting to get over the fear and sing for people
Always watching from the United Kingdom nice to have Ariana on the podcast and awesome for Ariana to take custody hopefully and praying it works out for her 🙏. I'm so glad your guys are always honest about pregnancy and sexuality
I am in Wisconsin and they can have that privacy and some procedures at 12 years old! When my sons went to the dr at 12 I was shocked when they told me I had no access to his records and he could ask me to leave.
Ariana I understand the cooking issue. I grew up in foster homes for 5 years and I got used to cooking for a lot of people and then when I got my own place I didn't know how to cook for 1 or 2 people. Crystal I can tell you in NY the counties don't communicate across counties which makes huge hassles.
I'm not sure if it's the same but I understand it as "HIPAA Law." At least each time I took my teens to the Doctor I was told that I need to step out if my young adolescent asked to discuss further with the Doctor. I must say that tidbit upset me because as a parent I am still responsible.
I'll be honest, I think it's pretty crazy that they are encouraging/supporting the idea of Ariana adopting and becoming a single teen mom when she doesn't even have a career yet. Crystal even later mentions how Ariana is just starting out her life and isn't even ready for a serious relationship yet 24:24 . But she's ready for a kid?
But it's her nephew! Family! She knows what it's like to be in foster care and probably doesn't want that for him. I think it's admirable and very mature of her.
None of that is relevant when it comes to saving your nephew from growing up in the Foster care system. Already, they can't even find the baby which is so messed up that the system cannot even find a child. She may not be ready for a kid but she will be if it comes to it. It's very courageous of her despite the fact that it would mean she becomes responsible for another human life for at least 16+ years. There will be many things she'll have to give up & life as she knows it will change but she seems like she'll do it if that means her nephew doesnt have to grow in foster.
@@Caroline-se7gh I agree it's admirable that she wants to help. But just because someone is technically related to you doesn't mean you are ready to raise them as a single teen who is still trying to figure out what they want to do for a career (plus she doesn't even really know the kid). If that were the case, there wouldn't be so many kids in foster homes in the first place from their parents being unfit to raise them.
Ariana, Anyone who has a child is never "Ready" to have a child...You learn as you go....Wishing you luck in your search for your nephew....He deserves to be with family if possible and I think you would be a great mom....
I’m with you that teen pregnancies aren’t ideal and yet at the same time I’m wishing Ariana all the best luck in the world in finding her nephew and getting custody. She has the best support system ever and knows about kids in the care system.
Happy birthday Hannah and happy early birthday max 🥳. Ariana will be an amazing Mom she was brought up by the best rule model's with the example set by you Arron Shelly and Jared and Melinda 💜 Melinda may have not adopted or fostered but the example she said I was single mother and the straight it take to do it by yourself I'm still struggling with being a single parent and with that being said I adore the amount of love and support every member of the family gives and gets from each other
Tips for milk… buy two smaller ones. Put one in the freezer and then when you’re about to run out take the frozen one out the night before, leave it in the sink to defrost and in the morning put it into the fridge.
Ariana has a great perspective! She knows both sides of the issue and is handling it in a very mature manner. She has the support of her family but it's not easy. Nevertheless, I give her a lot of credit though.
I've been watching you all for a number of years. I'm very impressed by Arianna I think she would do a remarkable job I mean I don't know her personally but just see what a special young woman she is. At same time I was a mom at 18yrs old I was on my own it was the hardest thing I ever did. I believe it would of been better to grow up first. I dearly love my son things were really hard for him also. Crystal and Aaron have done a remarkable job better than I ever did. I think that's the thing is these two work together. Seem to have a successful marriage. And Crystal having three babies for other people. She is a Angel in my eyes. Good luck with all you do. Sister Sarah Bennett in ND.
Maybe Ariana's sister might mention the boy's birthday and the address where the boy was living when he first went into cps. It seems cps 'work their own little patch' and are definitively zoned) so the locality that the child first went into care should have his details. If they had no room and needed to send him to another locality, then his trail of journey should be able to be followed. Another commenter mentioned an adoption lawyer might help find the child.
I was a teen mom at 15. I’m now 44 and my son is 28. I just wanna say to Ariana that if you take your nephew, it will all fall into place. Even though it was hard at 15 , having my son was one of the best decisions I ever made. I’m not saying I recommend having kids as a teen. In my case my parents wanted me to have an abortion and I am sooooo happy I didn’t. He is one of my best friends. We grew together and everything fell into place . I’ve had major medical problems since he was 3 and a half. There have been times when he’s had to help me and I think it helped us grow closer. He actually took care of me for a year when I was extremely sick and wheelchair bound. He helped take care of his siblings also while my husband works nights. My point is that kids adapt and you will adapt to them as well. There is nothing better than the love of a child. I hope it works out that your able to get him. Family is so important.
I am not sure but for some reason your podcast videos always seem to be low on the volume .. your other videos are fine .. but i have to turn my volume way up on the podcast to hear it
Ariana, life experience or not you will learn and grow just like the rest of us. Experience in life is important but knowing family is taking care of family and that is upmost then not judging or saying if someone is capable. Hoping the best for Arianna and her nephew
I got pregnant at 15 and it is not easy! I hope that all teens would wait, but they need the support of parents for real. That is very sweet that Ariana wants to foster/adopt her nephew. 🤣😂" Aaron saw you with your shirt off? " 🤣😂 "it's probably not true, so don't tell anybody" 🤣😅 literally laughing out loud!! ..Max and Ariana when hearing that..🙉🙉
In the U.k we typically do Nursery (2-4 years) then Reception age 4-5, Yr 1 age 5-6, Yr 2 age 6-7, Yr 3 age 7-8, Yr 4 age 8-9, Yr 5 age 9-10, Year 6 age 10-11 (this is where Primary School ends and you move up to High School) start Yr 7 at 11-12, Yr 8 at 12-13, Yr 9 at 13-14, Yr 10 14-15 & Yr 11 age 15-16 .. then you typically move to College and do 2/3 years depending on courses taken then move from College to University for 3 years plus like my 2 Eldest have done. One's now graduated and the other is in her Second year of University doing Criminology, Psychology and Sociology. Yes.. I was a young Mum (Mom) but I've done well by them and they've been extremely academic & pushed themselves. Makes me so proud 👏 🥲 🥰
@@Powell978 not 'typically' no. For those of us whom choose to go back to work sooner rather than later yes, nurseries will take them younger but typically you'd find a Registered Childminder for a 'baby' .. the Nurseries where I'm from are open to Children 2-4 with Children then starting Reception at age 4-5. Maybe where you live is slightly different to where I am but 'typically' this is the way School goes. I understand 'some' School also have "Middle" School however that's a 'minority' of them in comparison to them that transition from Primary straight in to High School and then on to College, and so forth.
5:19 when I was in High School. I transferred schools in 10th. I somehow did graduate on time; but I was taking two grades of classes for 3 years. examples 9th, and 10th grade classes.
Teen pregnancy is definitely different if you are 15 or 19. Would I support my kid at any age ? Of course! Things are a lot different at a younger age though.
My sister was a school nurse in New Mexico and middle schoolers(11-13/14 yrs old) could go to her and ask for birth control and or about how to go about getting an abortion. My sister wasn’t allowed to talk to the kids about alternative options, and she also wasn’t allowed to talk to their parents about it .
Ariana has such a good heart to think of her nephew. While it's a great idea, has she thought about how this will affect or change her life going forward with her social life and relationships and job. It's difficult to be a single teen mum and then be free to have like minded friends and go out. Life can get lonely. I suggest asking Lacey advice as she has experience being a teen mum. Also meeting/having a boyfriend her age would be difficult cos they would have to accept she is a mum and not have the same freedom to just go out, live life and have fun. Can her biological mum not help with the baby or at least help find a good family who would like to foster or adopt the baby? Whatever she chooses, I support her. Just wondering if she really thought this through.
Also I feel as though if you're adopting a family member technically I don't know if they would call you mom because you're their aunt or their cousin or whatever when you're adopting kids if you don't know and they call you mom I feel like they're different than when you adopt a family member and they only know you as that person
In S. A. we have Preschool from 3 months till 5 or 6years and Primary school(preschool part) from 5 - 6 and Gr1-7 then Highschool Gr8- 12. Our sisteem bit different.
18:00 I was just on another video where the general discussion was “don’t support teen pregnancy, but support pregnant teens” You don’t have to say you support teen pregnancy cause that would be wrong… but you can obviously support the teens that already are pregnant
That would be amazing if Ariana could adopt her Nephew! She would be a super fun mom! The fact that she wants to take him in instead of making him go through foster care like she did melts my heart! She has so much support and help if she needs it!!
My family is way to open about sex and stuff like that. 17:17 pretty much that’s all my mom, sister and grandma talk about. But this story is funny, my grandma reacted the same way when she found out when I had sex. I’m only 17 but I really want kids. I had a miscarriage at way to young of an age and it kind of ruined the thought of me having kids of my own. Watching you guys and crazy middles makes me want to adopt when I am able to. My family tells me I don’t want to adopt teens but watching you guys makes me want to save these teens. So many of them age out and end or ruin their own lives and it’s so sad. Thank you guys for being such a big inspiration to me!
this is my first Podcast from you, and i love it. I love the soundquality. Thanks for sharing the answers so open and truethfull. I hope it helps others to find there way. greets from germany.
Crystal and Aaron please be proud of yourselves on how you have raised your kids. They are amazing! In Washington State kids at 13 or 14 can have medical things done and their parents don't have to know about it.b
@Kathryn Araguz you being a complete stranger don’t have a place to be giving your unsolicited opinion about it. You don’t even know her. Instead of judging and acting like you have the right to say either way what she should do, you need to work on your grammar. Too not to
Happy birthday Hannah I hope you have a wonderful day🎉🎂. Crystal you are such an amazing person in changing lives of others keep up the fantastic work.
I even saw a video of a mom talking about her 6 year old daughter has to give her mom consent to even look at appointments for Drs. A 6 year old? What kids can drive?
Again...I LOVE LOVE this podcast..Look forward to it every week BUT the audio is SOOOOOO quiet! Sometimes I have to sign off due to frustration and I don't want to do that! Maybe you can look into the volume level? Thank You

I really appreciated this podcast and the honesty of your journey in creating this family.
Also Ariana I get this horizon milk it’s organic and it last longer than typical milk. I don’t drink a lot but sometimes I need it so I highly recommend
I agree, such a difference
I love how you guys adopt and foster! I think it’s really important that everyone should have a second chance for a family. I love that Ariana is on the podcast! 👏 Happy birthday Hannah!
I hope you can find Ariana’s nephew. I know if any of my family needed me I would foster and adopt them. It would be hard being young but so worth it for him to be with his family.
What a fun podcast! Thanks Ariana for sharing so much, I hope the situation with your nephew gets sorted out.
I really wonder about the concept of moving out in the US. Typically, we stay home until we absolutely have to (maybe work takes us to a different location or getting married). I think I like our concept better as it allows the young adult to continue to mature whilst still under the guidance of the parents.
And it saves money
I'm glad you are showing Jaimie life skills. I enjoyed you showing her how to make pasta. She will learn so much from you.
I think she would be a great mom. She has had an amazing family to show her what the true meaning of family means.
I think it is a so sweet that Ariana wants to adopt her nephew however I think she needs to really think about it before taking on the huge responsibility l. I personally could see how it could be a lot especially with now taking on the role with Jamie.
Ariana no one will ever be really prepared to be a parent but u have great support and help... also praying God will guide u on the right solution... blessings
Ariana I am so proud of you for feeling this way about your nephew. Especially at your age, you for sure would be the most amazing mam.
Max's priorities- 2kids, for car seat reasons.
Love Him!!!
In TX any child over 14 that are pregnant, can limit their parents involvement. They can get testing and treatment without their parents. It amazed me the find this out.
That's amazing, Arianna. You have such a great heart girl ❤️ you have a great support system .
I pray that you are at least able to foster/adopt your nephew ❤
I am in Wisconsin and they can have that privacy and some procedures at 12 years old! When my sons went to the dr at 12 I was shocked when they told me I had no access to his records and he could ask me to leave.
Wow I can't believe Ariana maturity! She's such a great person!😊
I'm not sure if it's the same but I understand it as "HIPAA Law."
At least each time I took my teens to the Doctor I was told that I need to step out if my young adolescent asked to discuss further with the Doctor.
I think it's admirable and very mature of her.
yep
@@rosemaryheart4706 Being ready to raise a kid is extremely relevant especially when it comes to adoption.
Ariana, Anyone who has a child is never "Ready" to have a child...You learn as you go....Wishing you luck in your search for your nephew....He deserves to be with family if possible and I think you would be a great mom....
Happy birthday Hannah! Arianna is so sweet, she’d make a loving mother ❤
Contact an adoption attorney in CA. You can look up sisters info to find baby name and birth year. Usually at clerk of courts or register of deeds.
@16:49 loved the kids response to Crystals pregnancy story! haha
great episode
I’m with you that teen pregnancies aren’t ideal and yet at the same time I’m wishing Ariana all the best luck in the world in finding her nephew and getting custody. She has the best support system ever and knows about kids in the care system.
Crystal, the story of you telling your mom you were pregnant had me cracking up! I needed that laugh.
Happy birthday Hannah and happy early birthday max 🥳. Ariana will be an amazing Mom she was brought up by the best rule model's with the example set by you Arron Shelly and Jared and Melinda 💜 Melinda may have not adopted or fostered but the example she said I was single mother and the straight it take to do it by yourself I'm still struggling with being a single parent and with that being said I adore the amount of love and support every member of the family gives and gets from each other
I wish you all the best! Being a single mom is the most difficult job. Sending big hugs n cuddles from our family to yours!
So awesome to see the kids growing up and being responsible
The Silence is deafening. That's how I feel as well sometimes.
Ariana I'm so excited for you.
I 1000% support Ariana to the FULLEST!!. This truly made my heart smile. 😊 Your amazing Ariana, I know you can do it!!. I see it in you. Hugs!!!.❤
I loved that Ariana wants to help I have always wanted to adopt and foster since the 7th grade and you keep me inspired to keep following that dream
A tip for Ariana-you can freeze milk. I buy the gallon and put portions of it in separate freezer containers. Then, I can pull it out when I need it.
I am not sure but for some reason your podcast videos always seem to be low on the volume .. your other videos are fine .. but i have to turn my volume way up on the podcast to hear it
Agree
Ariana, life experience or not you will learn and grow just like the rest of us. Experience in life is important but knowing family is taking care of family and that is upmost then not judging or saying if someone is capable. Hoping the best for Arianna and her nephew
Ariana what a sweetheart. I love how you are nurturing Jamie xx
Hope you get custody of your nephew 💗
In Washington your parents can’t access your medical records without permission past 14. But have to consent to some vaccines till 18.
Tbh nurseries are typically from 12 week old babies to 4 years. Or typically pre school is from 3-4/5
@@Powell978 not 'typically' no.
This bring tears to my eyes 😭😭😭😭😭, love this Arianna
I love that Ariana wants to adopt her sisters nephew she's going to make a great foster mum
Ariana is so good on here. Such a different side to her. Podcast natural
18:00 I was just on another video where the general discussion was “don’t support teen pregnancy, but support pregnant teens”
You don’t have to say you support teen pregnancy cause that would be wrong… but you can obviously support the teens that already are pregnant
I'm praying you are able to find your nephew Ariana and able to get him to come live with you.
All I hope is that she find him and I know with the help of you and your husband she will ❤
That would be amazing if Ariana could adopt her Nephew! She would be a super fun mom! The fact that she wants to take him in instead of making him go through foster care like she did melts my heart! She has so much support and help if she needs it!!
It’s not about being a “fun mom”
@@Iam1random1 Karen
@@Cassiesibbitt that hardly makes me a “Karen” come on that is silly
Ariana you will be an awesome mom if it’s now or few years it’s really sweet of you to step up that’s a really shows how grown up you are.
Not that its any of my business but shes way to young and you all know that…if she wants do it later after shes married then that’s awesome..
You can’t tell someone that they are too young to do what they want. She is an adult. Legally she can adopt kids.
Thank You
