Feeling Like a Mean Machine at the Creek While Truck Camping in Ocala

One of the nice things about the Ocala National Forest is all the great spots you can find for dispersed camping. Sometimes the first spot you go to is perfect, other times you have to keep looking. This truck camping trip we had found a spot on the map we wanted to look at, but once we got there we determined we could find a better spot if we kept looking. Eventually we made it back to the creek-side beach that we found on a prior trip. Bob waded out into the creek to go fishing while Karla hung out on the beach with Lilly the dog. Once Lilly scared all the fish away, we took advantage of the rope swing! We enjoyed the creek until the heat of the day passed. We moved down the road and set up our camp. Once everything was in place we cooked supper and spent the evening chillin.

We love you guys …y’all are the best …the place Karla was swinging on the rope and Bob was fishing reminded us of Gillian’s island 😊 beautiful place …The steak really smelled good lol …can’t wait til your next adventure
