How To Install a Chart Plotter on a 2007-2016 Sea Doo: WATERCRAFT MAINTENANCE

Follow along as I install a Ram Ball mount for a GPS/chart plotter on a 2011 Sea Doo RXT X260. The same process should work on most of the full sized Sea Doos from 2007 through 2017. This video is part of a series where I show how to install a Garmin Echomap chart plotter on my Sea Doo.

I have had this Sea Doo out on the water several times since this installation was completed and the Garmin stays where it is put, even in some pretty rough water.

Wish my ski had exposed bolts like that. Makes it 1000 times more easy to mount. I have a 2006 seadoo gtx and the handlebars are covered up

Nice job. This is probably invaluable when exploring, to mark honey holes etc.
Camera did well in that rough water.

Now that I have the transducer mounted it really works well. I was amazed how well the Insta360 One X did stabilizing the rough ride. It really was rockin' that day and the camera makes it almost look like a gentle ripple.
