I like how a lot of these aren’t even mistakes Tony personally makes, they’re problems that come up naturally, and he finds solutions. True engineer
that’s genuinely wha the vid is ant. He means mistake as in things he missed out on and then it created a problem
That genuinely what the vid is abt*
Failing to predict and address an issue that could come up is fundamentally difficult to differentiate from making a mistake in your design.
@kingoftherevolution4855my brain is getting friend bro
@VelocityX67Iron Ant
the first mistake that he made was creating arms that everyone can use, so he created a weapon that only he can use
The Incredibles much? U reminded me of syndrome's speech lol
Until Rhodes took one of his suits, then Tony made them only work for him in Ironman 3.
@noice4351 Which one?
@Luxッin im2, its stated that the suits have back ups to prevent unauthorized uses, so he LET rhodey take it
"When everybody is super, then nobody is"
You forgot one in Iron Man 3 where he was stranded in the frozen woods, so he added a warmer in Peter's suit in homecoming.
And a tracking chip
His suit was dead so the heater wouldn’t work
@Outlaw7263 tracking chip was when he was ambushed at the start of Iron man 1
He couldn't reach fast enough while the war machine was free falling in civil war, so installed a booster in infinity war
@debasishdash2246i think the booster is just a standard upgrade tbh
When you put it all together, it really shows why Thanos respects Stark out of everyone. No matter how many times he’s beaten down, he overcomes it
No its simply because he is the main character and lets be honest the writer wanted it thag way.
@samanyupalthi then why'd he die in endgame bud
@trojanillusions because they want to stop expanding on iron man by giving us a closure, instead of becoming another "family" show that never ends
i think it's moreso that out of EVERYONE he fought a PURE HUMAN gave him the best fight with only tech he literally created.
@trojanillusions this is such a dumb question because tins of main characters have died in other stories prior to IronMan, being themain charater doesnt always mean surviving
I find it amazing how Iron Man 1 made Tony testing the suit entertaining to watch. The flight test gave me so much hype when i was a kid.
An example of how low stakes doesn't equal low enjoyment/engagement
@WhatIsSanity Not entirely low stakes, the high altitude icing put Tony in danger. The flight was still exciting even before though.
@ham_the_spam4423
Indeed!
@ham_the_spam4423true, a better way to put is small scope
Same here
It was just one of those cool things that happens and gets you excited as it builds up
A shame Iron heart didn't get this and just summoned a demon to do it for her
marvel should be more like Tony and learn from their mistakes
Fr
Ironheart best series made by marvel, easily defeat shehulk to become the best of trash ❤❤
@longphi25 I dunno, they’ve made some pretty good series in the past
@longphi25 wait serious question is iron heart good? Like good good? Should i watch? I havent seen anything marvel related since endgame (and wanda vision)
@SonicTheBlueBlur15 read his comment again.
You forgot one;
After Thanos kept destroying his nano-shields, his next suit incorporates energy shield technology.
😂yeah!!
And more nanotech, since is chubbier
@micheld7994 not chubbier. Bulkier
Addition: It's still Mark L, he just upgraded its nanotech to be able to produce the shields.
@thetitanhaterIt’s the Mark LXXXV (85), a completely different suit that was in Endgame.
1.5. Captured by Terrorists, installed a GPS in suits
11. Armor Shield destroyed by Power Stone, Added an Energy Shield into the suit
12. Couldn’t get gauntlet off of Thanos, designed the suit to transfer the stones to his armor
He didn't design the suit to steal the stones, he controlled some of the nanites in his suit to steal them
The last one he kinda learned at that very moment it happened. When he saw Thanos take off the power stone and use it against Captain Marvel, that´s when he knew what to do.
Tbf, the energy shield was created so that he wouldn’t have to use nanotech to create a shield so that way he can focus the nanotech elsewhere, as proof against Thanos the first time; Instead of retracting his nanotech shield against Thanos, Tony tweeted the shield, which meant he intentionally or unintentionally wasted nanotech against Thanos that he could have used against him.
I hope that made sense 😅
12: "I'm bringing the party to you."
it was only possible because the gauntlet was made from strark tech not because he designed the suit to steal them
7:18 he also learned to add a new helmet if the first one gets destroyed
No
It was the Nanotechnology, it auto repaired after being destroyed.
@That_oneguy-y3tYes, but he had to program it to do that. His helmet getting damaged or destroyed was a somewhat common issue throughout the franchise, but it wasn't one he could realistically solve before incorporating nanotech.
@Oddi0 true true
@Oddi0that’s just a nanotech thing in general, being able to repair the suit. That’s what the guy was already saying
7:12 If Tony did add the double thrustered hammers to the suit to fight Bucky and Cap, he would've sent them both to Jesus making the film boring
Not to mention, but I'd also be weird if captain america lost in his own movie
his suit in civil war is a non combat suit which is why he lost. He definitely learned to improve his h2h combat tech but if he was wearing his regular suit can and bucky would be easily beaten
@DustinMarchionnacivil war really should have been an avengers movie
@Capybara2240plot armor is a bitch...
Also with not being able to reach Rhodey fast enough, he added that extra booster where his feet merge together to one super rocket booster
Thats for space travel
tbf a lot of the "fixes" stop mattering with the introduction of the nano-tech armor, because they're not "real" features anymore (with exception of maybe those detaching arches that enhance his blasts). They are on-the-fly adaptations, not necessarily ever previously planned for. Take the time he locked thanos' hand to the ground by turning one of his feet into a treeroot - there's no way he had that as a planned feature beforehand, he just recognized he needed to prevent thanos' gauntlet from being used while also limiting his movement so he thought of how he could accomplish that right then and there. The line between "solutions to previous problems" and "on-the-spot decisions" starts to blur, with only clear deviations from what was previously possible being clear enhancements, like energy shielding
@3AnxiousFerretsInATrenchcoat So what you're saying is
Nanotech disables most of his mistakes in the first place
Tony Stark learns from his mistakes
@slowsloth3809im not arguing against him learning from his mistakes, but most of the stuff he does with the nanotech aren't as much responses to previous problems, more just - he has the solution to most problems at the ready now
@3AnxiousFerretsInATrenchcoat Good point. I'd say that the nanotech suit itself is a solution to the fundamental problem of having to improve the suits in the first place. Tony recognized the flaw of requiring downtime between battles to fix other design flaws, and he solved it with the nanotech. Now, when a new problem presents itself, he doesn't have to make a mental note to work on fixing it for the next time, he just fixes it then and there.
Don’t forget that after the first fight with thanos using his nano tech shield, he instead fixed the mistake in endgame adding a wakandian energy shield
He didn't forget it's literally in the video, looks like you didn't even watch
So what??
@darmarajuganesa4520 so he fixed the nano partical wastage. He used to many nano particals for the shield in infinity war so he didn't got much nano particals to repair his damaged armor
@arul15099ah ok, so basically it wasn't wise to use the nano particles themselves for tanking things since they're much more frail and when making them into a shield, bits can fall off and he's going to be armorless
It’s like Hiro’s nanobots from Big Hero 6 which is basically the same thing. The main cast went after the bots instead of Callaghan himself to deplete them so he would be able to use them for his attacks
6:41 I love how Friday just says yep when Toney asks her to deploy Peter’s parachute 😂
Good thing the damned thing didn't get pulled into the machine with moving parts that he was standing on
Tony*
Was about to comment the same thing. Over all friday didn't really live up to jarvis but she did have her moments
"Aww c'mon!" XD That reply was priceless!
3:34 the first nano suit tech in the making
I wouldn't call it nano-tech per se. He had self-assembling suits since Iron-Man 2.
@mikkitoro8933well, one thing is a plate that can fold into the armor, and another is a nano-tech glove
5:27 the way the Other Alien just sweeps big guy out of his way is Smooth and Amusing at the same 🤣
Other Alien: Ebony Maw
Big guy: Cull Obsidian
02:08 "how about that?"
i love this part omg
in latin spanish it's also pure gold, since he says "que buena onda" which is like saying "hell yeah"
@nuc_star7actually it's more like a "oh what a nice guy"
400% capacity? That’s like saying you filled your 10 gallon gas tank with 40 gallons, let’s hit the road! Try saving a 4 gigabyte file on a 1 gig thumb drive, see how that goes.
@mikekolokowsky No, it isnt meant like that.
Thats presumably means that tony built so many passive emergency capacitor circuit (practically extra empty battery) that in an event where his suit got shot by lethal electricity (lightning, electric tower, trafo, etc) he can redirect and store them instead of getting fried on the spot.
But to be frank with you, yes, this is "Artistic License : Physics" in practice.
Because no way in hell a suit thats powered by a mini nuclear plant can also have built in lighting rod that double its power capacity, let alone an extra 400%, lmao.
@OGRsonicit can mean both.
Watching this reminds me of how good these marvel movies used to be…
Where they actually cared about the lore. Now, they only care about cashing in trends. Pathetic tbh.
And Ironheart is a disgrace to iron man's legacy
@mankachu100it’s literally its own show weirdo
@mankachu100how so?
@ilovepopeyesbiscuitswithno1994 girl says she’s better thank Tony and proves otherwise and you ask “how so”?
Never IN MY LIFE have I seen anyone spell “almost” with a U.
You do now
Give me time stamps
2:16, 5:36
Brazilian
@OkEzeRodriguezAlways interesting to learn about regional differences in the same language.
"I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems."
3:46 lol Tony Almost got shot in the face. His expression is so funny
5:33 nanomachines, son.

You can’t hurt me, Thannos!
I'M FCKING INVINCIBLE
Played college ball, y'know?
They harden within the structure of the nanoparticles
Fun fact, the Hulkbuster was actually co-designed with Hulk in case he needed a restraint for when he lost control of his own powers. Hulk would later use the Hulkbuster 2.0 when he was temporarily unable to access his powers in Infinity War
True, but it was Bruce Banner, not Hulk, they're two different entities
@Kal_Nightmare Yeah, because Bruce learn from his mistakes.
@verifelimeanwhile hulk is “break that man’s spine”
@Kal_Nightmarea part of me hates that slowly over the years comics separate banner and hulk. I liked when banner would call himself hulk and identified as the green guy then immortal hulk came out😔
@izrael820
I think it worked best when they leaned into the Jeckyll-Hyde original inspiration: Hulk was just Bruce with anger management issues and super strength, It was cool like that. The MCU started off the character really well, but by the end they ended up making them separate entities. I cannot even be happy with Professor Hulk for refusing them because there was no buildup to it. *None!*
7:55 that's exactly what failed before - automatic targeting
it’s misleading. it’s more like autonomous since he doesn’t have to actually aim to register it first
Exactly what I was thinking
This time it’s in the weapons themselves
The difference here is Self Guiding Vs In sight targeting. Insight targeting relies on a system to line up and fire a mono-direction rocket with semi active tracking to allow for better accuracy.
Fully Self guiding systems are given a target and then fired, the rockets are self correcting and can be fired at any angle and still hit their intended target because the tracking comes from the rocket itself and not the tar lock system in the suit.
In sight targeting system works by plotting the entire flight path: PointA>line>Point B
Self Targeting works by just giving a final destination, the rocket does the rest: -> Point B
@lynchreacher117 So it was like heat seeker vs homing missile?
4:04 haha this is almost certainly on request from Fury
It was Bruce
Banner and Stark collaborated on Veronica
Bro has not paid attention to marvel movies
5:04
The way he just says "friday"
And she knows exactly what to do
3:40 looking back on it now, its actually insanely impressive how a billonaire playboy philanthropist was able to go toe to toe with the winter soldier, not only a trained assassin, one of the BEST assassins in hydra. even if it was for 5 very quick secounds, this dude was just an inventor with a shit ton of money who was able to even attempt a fight with bucky
He also manages to disarm bucky in the fight when he pulls the slide off the handgun and smacks him with it. It's easy to forget because of how much he uses ranged weaponry with his suits, that one of Starks many hobbies is training in different types of martial arts. he might not be able to compare to people like cap or bucky in terms of hand to hand with no suit, but he is a better fighter than most normal humans.
And the either remarkable reflexes or insane luck he has that he took that bullet in his glasses! Trump level reflexes there.
He's shown to work on martial arts in Iron Man 2
bro facts
I mean Tony did great but I wouldn't consider any of that Toe to Toe just catching Bucky by surprise, Bucky being surprised and then putting belt to ass
we all miss iron man ? hell yea 😂
hell yea
Hell yeah!
Hell yea
The whole world miss him
I miss the whole team to be honest.
According to Jarvis there's 1TB of data need to be calculated before flight
“The average commercial aircraft - like the Boeing 737 - creates 20 terabytes of engine information per hour.” That’s probably where the *terabytes comes from.
that's a huge underestimation
“Almoust” is crazy
Tony consistently improving his suits is a rare example of subtle storytelling and characterizing I wish there was more of in the MCU.
1:20 my core memories of what got me into watching marvel
Fr that scene is unforgettable
@BRING_ME_CHILI_FRIES_NGAWhen I first watched this scene it was on a DVD full of music videos. At the end of the DVD they had 2 marvel clips, one with hulk, and that scene with ironman
2:13 I believe it's due to the new arc reactor he had that allowed him and the suit to convert that much energy. In endgame he had basically perfected the arc reactor and implemented them into all his armours
Well, the 2nd Arc Reactor did use a bit of vibranium, so that explains why it absorbs the electricity from Thor’s hammer.
Well no... If he didn't learn from Whiplash's attacks then at some point his arc reactor would've exploded due to how much power it generated... 400% increased power in a mini reactor who could power his suit for a long time would probably end up like Chernobyl's meltdown if he didn't knew how to redirect or absorb those excess power..
@ShockwaveFPSStudioswait are you sure? I thought it used a synthetic mineral his father designed.
Here's a fun theory I heard before. The Tesseract powered weapons in Captain America: First Avenger make the same repulsor noises as Tony's suit. The arc reactor that powered his suit was initially made by Howard Stark who studied the Tessaract intently. You can make the connection that the Arc Reactor is already attuned to Asgaridan Magic by proxy of the Tesseract and was capable of absorbing the lightning of Thor inheriently.
@MazHazPazzazyooo that's a really cool theory I've never heard before, thanks!
The Hulk Buster was actually Bruce’s idea. He even designed it just in case Hulk ever goes rogue
7:37 he was not shooting bucky, he was aiming to close the door, wich he did
The nanotech suit was single-handedly the moat boring suit imaginable. It could do anything, and thus eliminated the need for a special suit for a specific occasion.
2:33 that same kind of theme returns in Endgame! Holy smokes how did I miss that!
Oh wow I didn’t realize that either
Damn me neither
Same lmao, just realized. Makes it more powerful now.
Oh, facts! It happens by both of his sacrifices ❤
Let’s not forget how he changed his suits to where he tapped to engage them after his bad dream he had and the suit tried to attack tjem
2:25 Now that the MCU has passed, I know now that the reason why Tony was so in awe was not because he was suddenly in space but because he saw the mothership and realized if that's what the Level 1 boss looks like, then there is absolutely nothing the Earth could possibly have when they get to the Final Boss (Thanos).
Passed???
Nah I think it was because he was in space all of a sudden when his suit wasn't made for it so that means death
NikolayHizenprofits okay to admit when something is hot garbage and still continuing. Wanda vision, doctor strange, wakanad forever, eternals, Spiderman, thunderbolts
NikolayHizenprof two spider-man films
NikolayHizenprofI thought no way home was a great movie. Just my opinion tho
This trilogy is still one of my favourite marvel trilogies. Love seeing how far iron man has come.
Nfs Removing The Armor Gaps Was OP
The more the video progressed the more sad i get, Marvel movies used to be so awesome
Yea now we are stuck with fucking iron heart lol
It's ridiculous bro they are all nothing but CGI masterpieces it's hella sad
Also yeah I don't agree with the Iron Heart Bullshit how can you replace Tony Stark with a nerdy black girl (just saying it's some Disney bullshit in processed in a can
@corymillim7186 funny thing is they don't even show her as a nerd. She literally does crime in the show and is motivated by money. She's a terrible character they are trying to push as a hero because she is black and a woman.
@babyboikash1028 Yeah bro first they ruin Star Wars and now Marvel with thier pro Diversity Bullshit. let me guess the character is gay too? I haven't seen the show and i aint going to but I wouldn't be surprised
4:26 did hulk dirty in that one 😭🙏🙏
Gotosleepgotosleepgotosleep
@Decade_1703 its 11:46 in the morning 😭🙏🙏🙏
@Decade_1703
Timezone man.sadly yt doesnt publish user timezone like forum does
I remember being surprised, as the Hulkbuster always failed to beat Hulk in all it's other media appearances.
@Decade_1703 In Russian version Tony says "Turnoffturnoffturnoffturnorf" 🤣
Another mistake missed was when his helmet got destroyed by Captain America and he was at his mercy. He learned from that mistake with the nano tech suit and whenever is nano helmet was destroyed a piece of nano tech from a different part of his suit would replace it.
Nope it was because of Ant Man Sneaking in between gaps in the suit that’s the reason for the Nano Suit if you wanted to solve that problem, he would’ve built it out of stronger material not make a Nano suit
@VoidFireheart nano tech is just better overroll for everything
Tony handled Ant Man sneaking into his suit, but I'm pretty sure almost dying because your head was exposed was a better reason to design the nano armor.
@Epik_33if it was why was it torn apart to easily? Or why is there only a limited amount? Your gonna run out sooner or later therefore it isn’t the best armor because it has a weakness that’s already exploited because it’s the reason why he’s died right now because it wasn’t the best armor
@wingedbluj1674stronger armor is the solution for that not Nano tech armor. The proper solution is making the armor stronger so that can’t happen
2:22 yeah Tony almoust deid in space
"Go to sleep, Go to sleep, Go to sleep" gets me every time lmao.
7:30 don't forget 360degree spine rotation technology
If you look closely, he moved his legs too.
@Decay.Constant no of you watch the entire sequence his left foot is still pinning thanos' hand and thanos' busts it out throwing ironman backwards
It humours me that they definitely has a discussion around whether the audience would notice this move is physically impossible. And said "nah ppl won't notice"
@kh-wg9btthey should’ve fixed it lol
@kh-wg9bt possible he was able to pivot on that pinning leg. Considering its nano tech where his armor can freely move at will. Its the armor thats doing the pinning, not his foot.
It caught me off guard, but if you slow it to 25% speed you see he did a full rotation first, it's possible
This is what made the old marvel movies special, they were properly built up for the fans to see their failings and successes. Not nowadays where the writers just write anything and assume everyone should get it.
Its the classic hero's journey and routes of progressions. We see them fail for them to learn from failure. Only then they can succeed. We want people going from regular if not dysfunctional humans to inspiring heroes
@NintendoDude360story structure yes. From introduction up to moral messages
That's what made Tony so great. He's always improving.
The parachute was added much later than I would've expected
Making a repulsor out of a watch is probably my favorite invention he has. It's such a small thing compared to his suits but, especially when he didn't have the nanotech suit, but it's so practical and I love it.
His nanobot shield was torn to shreds by Thanos with the gauntlet in Infinity War. So he swapped to using an energy shield in Endgame so he didnt have to lose nanobots guarding attacks
Mark V.. A suit, inside of a suitcase.
Neat.
In my opinion it’s one of the most iconic suit ups of all time. I love the idea of Tony having an improvised portable suit to travel with (before he reached suits that could fly directly to him, the mark 42 being one of these)
Honestly, it's epic as hell. I also appreciate tony doesn't immediately slam the bad guy down like most marvel films, and he actually learns from his mistake from that.
Pretty thin suit for a pretty cool guy@christiangray7826
Best suit up even to this day.
"Because Tony learn from his mistakes" - Allen Tsai
I like how tony always does the exact same scream whenever he's falling. like "hooeuAAAAAAAGH"
0:38 my ass when i get flinged in roblox but the speed finally stops [am going to be ok, but my character ragdolled 😔]
Makes me wanna watch the Iron Man movies
Maybe nanotech is narratively justified, but it also makes his tech look so much more sci-fi, essentially killing any form of immersion that it has mechanical parts that work together and can be made IRL
Now, nanotech was heavily present throughout phase 4-5. I really got so tired of seeing it.
zhaohuangsfm yep that's the sentry, Inferno Rider also busts around on any video not just wuthering waves
zhaohuangsfmyeah 😅 didn't expect big aah robot to be a fan of iron man huh? :3
zhaohuangsfm I relate to iron man suit so much. Averado uses me in a similar way as Stark uses his suit. I just hope they won't decide to inject some mad AI into me one day wanting to take over the world. I feel content with my job
@phantomsnare5925WAIT YOUVE SEEN INFERNO RIDER??? I was sure he was imprisoned at the vault. I havent seen my bro out in years, the only time i see him is at the vault frozen in sonoro sphere.
Send him my regards next time you see him 😇
I like when he's autopunching Hulk saying "go to sleep, go to sleep" because he just wants this encounter to be over before the suit can fail. RDjr looking scared sells the idea he's just a regular human in a suit.
Hearing Thanos's "Cmooooon!" At the end was funny
Towards the end he was just Blue Beetle...
Who will tell him how to write almost?
lmao
Oh, that cracked me up
😂
And "Gaps"?
Not me lol
3:39 Tony the absolute unit rushes into hand to hand combat with a super soldier and holds his own
He learned from Rody's almost death by adding modular control on his thrusters with his nano suit too btw. And also made the iron legion when he was overwhelmed in new York with the alien invasion, made a bunch of new tech just to protect his love with all his armors in iron man 3, and ended up developing SPACE TRAVEL after learning it could be a little tini tiny possibility
Good times. Still of of my favorite MCU characters
"Because Tony learns from his mistakes!"
Tony gets sucked into the helicarrier turbines while trying to fix it.
2:55
he uses magnetic grips on his hand
I love the way you spell almost 2:18
Just think if tony had built Mark 50 armor already before and he would have kicked the ass of captain and bucky in Civil War
I can think of another one where he added a booster in infinity war to speed up as he was unable to reach rhody while falling from sky in civil war
this is the ultimate "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"
1:00
Not to be a nerd here, but actually what he did was make the suit out of a gold-titanium alloy
Also for 3:50, he personally learnt CQC techniques from Rogers.
our GOAT Ironman did not die for Riri 😭🙏
Rs
0:01 = wait hold on, this problem clearly shows about Rocket Jets just stopped. it has nothing to do with mistakes as This was just a suit for escape, its obvious This suit isnt guaranteed success
I was looking to see if anyone else pointed out that point number one was a load of crap. It wasnt a flight test, it was an escape attempt. He didnt LEARN from a mistake, he just did it with actual resources.
"where'd that come from?" "Nanomachines, son!"
I remember seeing iron man in theater s I feel old now lol
3:08 technically mark 21 (midas) i believe was the first to have the ability to function in space and also star boost was specifically designed for space as well
5:18 and the double tap
4:25 Parents when they catch you pass your bedtime 😂
It’s the little things like this that makes hero movies and all movies better
1:50 remember this is a briefcase suit, there was a time with the mk 3 where he was caught without access to his suit, so he ended up getting his arc reactor ripped out
Basically making the suits more and more accessible is another iteration
💯
I miss the realistic tecnology in these hero movies.
7:27 I get what’s being said, but didn’t his armor always have built in melee weapons? I mean several suits showed that Tony considered the possibility of melee combat in Iron man 3 with several suits of armor.
He didn't had that kind of melee weapons to go hand to hand combat
He only had missiles , repulsor etc and these are all ranged not melee
In mark 50 he got nano technology to make blade sharp weapons and the ranged ones also went on a new level
@IvoryPrime56Then what did he cut mandarin’s arm with in Ironman 3? What did that one armor use attached to its forearms on the two extremis guys at that one bridge? I’m not saying he didn’t advance his arsenal and improve them, but there were 100% melee weapons. Just not the most practical, or flexible for that matter, for creativity or response time. And he definitely upgraded his melee combat to be more efficient.
Not like that kind though. Tell us since when can Tony make a shield before infinity war? Along with other things he’s shown in that movie like trapping thanos hand with his foot . No other suits before that can do what the infinity war suit can do
@squigga6675 Jeez, calm down with the hostility. I’m not saying they were perfect, but he did have melee weapons before, and he used them. They just weren’t advanced and the armor wasn’t capable of allowing for a diverse amount of melee combat. That doesn’t change that melee weapons were definitely present, but he did improve once he built nano technology. It was more of upgrading what existed than learning from his mistakes. But to be fair the video did say “new melee weapons”. Not just “added melee weapons”.
@bllurrceratus8352 just saying how wrong you are . Obviously he’s always had melee weapons. But no other suit before infinity war can do the same things as that one in particular. This video just clearly implies the upgrades he does
3:45 I like how he smiled as he broke the gun like "Hey I actually did it"
For rhodey, he had to make that quick turbo boost. He was able to save spiderman
Con cada falla Tony siempre aprendia para mejorar.
5:08 liberated of gaps. And all decent CGI quality too
I wouldn't call them mistakes, they're just points of improvement. It's a fact of life to do something with the best you have and improve on it later. Tony isn't building better suits just because of these so called mistakes, but because he acknowledges that he's going up against more and more powerful forces and enemies..
thats what.... mistakes are.
everyone makes mistakes, and mistakes ARE those points of inprovement, when there is some flaw, some weakness in the suit, or something he could have included in the suit that wasnt before, he added it, improved it, thats the sort of mind tony has, to see what COULD be, and make it HAPPEN
@TychonChosha the way the video is titled and the whole idea of it just seems like we're taking the great Tony Stark and nit picking him by focusing down on these things that happened. He's not some elementary school kid who has to correct his math homework. Why not title it "some of iron man's greatest milestones of advancement"?
@SuperBurns78Because he did learn from his mistakes. I'm so sorry the oc didn't glorify him enough
@SuperBurns78 i didnt get that same energy from the video, i yhink they are praising his ability to see those flaws and fix them. thats just what i saw, at least
They are literally mistakes and it's okay to call them that since they become experience on what not to do and where to improve.
The 3rd one, the sound was cut off
In the eletricity scene, almost the whole background was matte painting.
4:20 2x speed. You’re welcome.
6:56 because of caps plot armor…
Fr if Tony fought cap without Bucky Tony would’ve beaten him
@Randomizer-editzfr a 2v1 is not fair at all
@Randomizer-editz Nah bro, cap and bucky are street level heroes while Tony is much more like a global one
@CiringaMen
Yeah tony with his tech felt like a general. Bucky and cap are foot soldier but really good
Mentioning plot armor when talking about fictional characters is just stupid
This isn't a mistake on Tony's part but he replaces heli-carrier rotors with thrusters after he nearly gets stuck in them.
Also after one of his boots is damaged in Civil War he adds extra stabilisers to the back of his nano suit
6:31 also here he added a booster on his suit to catch up
To learn from your mistakes, you first need to survive your mistakes...
5:48 Just imagine if it had hit the Falcon instead, that would be a cool "What if?!" episode. Vision being locked up, Falcon Dead, meaning no Captain America after Steve Rogers or The Winter Soldier becoming, The Winter Captain.
Though that would have not been the case. As said. ‘Glider’. He was only targeting his flight systems. Not his gliding systems. So his pack, would’ve automatically allowed him to glide, slowly, to the ground. Not killing him.
He probably has a parachute, if not, then he should
@moononehive he had one in Winter Soldier, so probably does here too.
6:46 I'll come out and say it Tony only lost because
1. He was targeting Bucky and holding back against Steve
2. He was beating the breaks off of both of them 1v1
3. They had to jump him
More likely targeting Bucky's arm
Also, because he couldn't reach Rhodes when he was falling, Tony improved his thrusts. You can see it in Infinity War when asks Friday "give me more juice"
those were for taking off the planet, him running into rhodey at that speed wouldve been the same as rhodey hitting the ground
@thewebhead101angled/curved flyover like torpedo bomber in ww ii. But its risky at high speed
This is why we love this character, and what inspired so many people to become engineers
Mistakes...? They're just innovations to new problems and situations. He learnt from his 'experiences'
