You are right, it does become something similar to the Draw Curve Tool. I did like how the draw curve tool automatically set the anchors on the curves automatically. Using the method I used is the closest I could find to automatically having them set.

@@legacycnc8232 I am not to good either. I am going to say that this will take a bit of getting used to and so far I have mixed emotions about it. Seems if you don't hold down long enough or let up to quickly it changes features but I will give it time. Lots of folks definitely complaining about this feature being removed.

Just use create line/polygon and click and hold the left mouse button down, which allows for adjustment
