yeah I had read on an old road map that fully voice acting was a goal but low on the priority list. So who knows when it'll ever happen, I still really want char creator... but I agree, in the meantime some ai voicing could be decent
Thanks, friend! I'm excited to get back into it! I was really enjoying that anatomist run then when recording the next episode I hit a bug that kept breaking the game and I couldn't get around it -.- I'm thinking that maybe I'll look into doing another run in BB at some point
@@Absurdum22 Great to see you back. Please get another BB run started. Alot of updates in the BB Legends. I also love this game . Do you have a streaming site we can catch you on?? Again, just great to see you back my friend.
@@christopherziemer1957 Hey, Friend! I think I have a fun idea brewing for afun easy going BB series. I think it'd be interesting and hopefully get me pulled back into the game. My twitch channel is in the description of all my vids as well as my discord. I stream a couple times a week, typically. It usually just depends on my work schedule
A small tip i would give for some extra cash early game: you mentioned the guard captain. if you dont want to use bow and arrow or crossbow in your run, ask him to give you one of those. They come with a stack of ammo. sell both to the carpenter and enjoy the most coins you can get from asking him for starting gear. But to be quite honest, even if you want to focus on meelee, having one ranged weapon to soften up enemies before they reach you is worth it. a crossbow still works decently, even without "take aim" skill. and Bunting birds give good meat to cook. Killing and cooking all the birds you come across gives you quite the cashflow. 10 birds usually turn into 30 to 50 gold depending on the meat type they drop. oh and one handed flails sell to the carpenter by the way and are actually worth the gold per slot if they have not broken status. Goedendags too are worth bringing home. any weapon that sells for 10 gold per slot is worth it early game. items worth more per slot are rare in early game. Every dungeon has storage outside. as long as the boss is alive or the quest inside notcompleted, you can leave the dungeon and store stuff there. its minmaxing profit, not everyone's happy to haul loot half an hour back and forth, but really, for me its worth to squeeze out every coin i can to be as good equipped as i can before leaving osbrook region and have already some extra cash to upgrade in the next towns.
This is some good advice, esp for the weapon from the captain, it's just easy money But bringing stuff back and forth from the dungeons is too much for me, esp when recording yt haha
Not sure what version you are playing but in 0.8.2... Verren now gives a map that reveals the Osbrook local area. There are different maps you can now find/buy from other merchants, etc.
This is such a little gem! I see people go "Oh, gaming is dying, blablabla..." Bruh, gaming has been frigging amazing for years, what you talking about 🤣
Ooh! That's a great point. I didn't think of that! I looked up on the wiki the weapon with the highest base price but that didn't seem to translate selling for much haha
@@Absurdum22 they probably changed it from the last time i played then. You used to also be able to just mash the search button a few times to see hidden rooms as well (which took away the point of having a high perception in the first place).
The game is 100% turn based. I play it pretty fast at times because I have some hours in it but at any point you can not pass time by not putting in a command to mover or do something. The log can be accessed at anytime through the escape menu so you can always read in detail what has happened. The game has a steep learning curve at times but is a lot of fun
My problem with this game is that I always get stuck somewhere, eather difficulty gap or I just get lost and don't know what to do, until later on I figured that exploration and gathering etc, are crucial, cuz new players tend to be downing on contracts one after another till they get stuck in progress and just bail(pretty much like me)
Yeah that's part of the reason why I'm taking it a bit slower and explaining some of the first steps I like to do because I find the the first contracts in each town are the biggest difficulty curves and I've learned ways to make them a little less brutal. Hopefully this series is fun to watch but at the same time helps people find ways to make it easier to play!
40:53 And the Tailor pays the best price for furs, cloth and other related materials like thread.
Really like the look of this one ☝️
Stoneshard is an amazing game! It's development has been a bit slow but the content is great. I hope to do more series in the future
Nice vid. Very hellpful
Thanks, friend! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I wish this game was fully voiced, more games should use AI voicing tech to fully voice their games like WoW addons for example.

Yeah stoneshard is the epitome of indie game gems these days. The amount of love and detail put into the game is really something else
if u want to sell the weapon that the guard supplies, the crossbow is the best one
the arrows sell for 100 and the crossbow for some more extra gold

Perception used to affect the chance of u revealing secret rooms in past versions. Dont know if the devs changed that or not in newer updates
Yeah I was starting to wonder about that. It doesn't say anywhere in game about it

The ring has a use now. Don’t sell it, you have to use it for something in brynn
Oh really?! Interesting...
Thinking about buying this game, can you pause it inside combat? Or pause it in general to stop the passage of time so you can read things?
