I watched your podcast and had to immediately go buy the Rainbow! I found it online at the Yarn Warehouse website and bought 2 of the Seaglass colorway, which is a bright blue and green gradient. I like the smooth transition of the Rainbow versus the abrupt stripes in the other cake you showed. It's more like the Scheepjes Whirls I love so much, but this is #2 versus Scheepjes's #1 weight. :) Plus, Scheepjes average around $30/cake. :D
Thank you for the review. I really like that red heart created the rainbow, I love the transition 💖 I actually split yarn and made sweater for my son with the color transition like three years ago and I love it so much 😊
Hi, thank you for this review. I’m currently using the Red Heart Rainbow (Foggy colorway) for my Spotting Clouds top in Fay’s #summertopCAL - it is working up really well! You’re so right about it’s use in garments, the stitch definition is clear and clean. I can’t wait to buy another color and make something else! Keep up the great work and thank you!
Did you notice many knots in the rainbow? The cake i got had 2 visible ones i found after i got home. Im hoping it was just the one i got and not a common thing.
I love the colors I bought one to make shawls for my family I bought mine last week started right away a shawl and some of the yarn its cut like as if someone just cut it 😞😞 i have to keep joining if anyone has the same problem let me know because i want ro buy more to see if they aren’t like this one that im working with
