Beautiful clock Rog! Looks new! You did a beautiful restoration... As we grow older it's nice to restore things older then we are... ;) I only wish I could be refurbished! Lol
Great job! On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad was the condition before you started? Did you have all the parts and refurb the movement too? The bird is awesome!
Hi Kissen, clock was probably a 5 out of 10 in terms of condition. Most work I did was on the wooden case which was in need of complete disassembly and re gluing. Movement just got a dunk and rinse in Coleman Camp fuel (naptha), re-oiled and re-installed in the clock. I later added two nice hand carved bone hands. It has been running for a few years now and flawlessly.
