could be a blockage not letting valve close all the way or possible defect in the valve

Were so the 3 wires from the old drain valve go on the new one

The new blue Girbau drains only use 2 wires, they do not use the ground wire anymore. You can use a zip tie and tie the wire up into the harness out of the way.
