I got so excited when I saw this in my subscription box! Absolutely love it! I didn't realize that American plays were printed differently! And that price is definitely not normal haha I had to buy a few of those copies for class last semester and paid $10-14 for each of them. I also didn't know there is a new version of Hedda Gabler! I'll have to go find that now! And... NEVER TOO MUCH SHAKESPEARE!

I absolutely LOVED this video!!! I can't want to be able to read entire plays in English, I tried to read Arthur Miller's Resurrection Blues last year and I hardly managed to understand half of the book... Your video inspired me to try again! (I'm French by the way)

so your copy of Death of a Salesman is the acting version ... not sure if it's only US that prints them like that, but basically it just has the script without any like forewords, notes from the playwright, history of the play, etc. pretty much whatever the actor needs to put on the production will be in it. don't really know why exactly they're printed separately like that, but there you go (: I have a couple of those myself, and I live in the US ... still have to do research on those versions though

That’s really Interesting i had no idea that they were printed separately in the US! In the UK it’s just hit and miss as to what you get at the start but usually they have something in regards to more direction for lighting and sound and whatnot 😊
