Commissioning Of Signals At Rawtenstall West Level Crossing

On Saturday 3rd of September 2016, two new signals were brought into use at Rawtenstall West on the East Lancs Railway. One in the Up direction and one in the Down direction. The first train to be signalled into Rawtenstall was Standard Tank 80080 hauling the 09:30 from Bury. The next train was hauled by 37109.
Whilst this video isn't the most exciting, it is a historical moment for the ELR to have working signals here. Some of the sequences have been shortened. This is the first use of signals for over 25 years. It started raining just after I arrived.
