Gordon Liddy being worried about bugs on everyone’s phones and in mtgs where they talked about Watergate, reminds me of the biblical proverb, “The guilty flee when none pursue them.” IOW, since Liddy had been bugging and burglarizing the Democrats, he assumed that they, or law enforcement, Would be trying to bug him and catch him and other Nixon people talking about doing illegal things, even though no one yet knew of Liddy’s involvement (he wasn’t one of the actual burglars arrested at Watergate; but he was arranging all these crimes).
Agreed. Erwin with his gavel, , having to interject Himself in the middle of the testimony..I can’t even understand what he’s saying? He sounds like he should be working at a convenience store in rural Mississippi. Comical!
you can hear Erwin mumble after about not knowing what the witness has said, so I'm assuming he was pulled away from the hearing briefly or was in a sidebar and has to excuse his absence before anyone speculated. Quite the obnoxious sidetrack though yeah.

Strange he has to give his full address publicly as he's sworn in.
