Flume is just ridiculous. Skin is my favourite album of all time. Whenever I listen to his music I feel completely different. I saw him live at Dockville a few years back and it stuck with me to date.
Every damn time that I hear a song where he goes crazy (so each of them lol) I'm always like: THIS FUCKING DUDE IS STUUUPID WTF IS THIS SHIT lmfao he's the real king i love every ideas he puts in
So so cool to hear about the Daniel Johns and Julian Hamilton input. Such a talented group of dudes with so much impact on the Australian music scene between them!
Say it is genuinely my favourite song ever. I love the vocals and the production equally as much. It never fails to give me goosebumps during the final chorus. Thank you flume for giving me that experience. I will be a fan forever ❤️
I was 14 years old and it was. My last couple days of summer vacation, I was up really early microwaving something and there was an ad before my RUclips video and it was Flume’s Holdin on. First time I. Ever heard it and I’ve been listening to flume ever since, I’m 21 now ❤️❤️❤️
Exactly what my experience was, it sounded really really good as a pop song, but then I started listening deeper and I was like geez this song is insane
He has changed the way people make music, take Water by BAYNK. I wouldn't be surprised if he is a massive Flume fan. Or maybe electronic artists are using more attack and swing to delay their drums and chords. I love the way this dude has inspired so many different creators, gets you thinking outside the box. Flume is a legend 🤙🏼
It’s crazy to learn that he essentially constructed a song out of all of these different parts. Other artists would be like ‘it’s was so organic, we knew so-and-so and the timing was just right and they came to the studio with ideas and we laid down vocals in like 2 days! We worked together super closely!’ And Flume’s creation is basically a really complicated art project. Lol! The artist isn’t going to really know how the song will even sound until after the finished product comes out.
so basically... like 5 people made this song together. I think something people need to keep in mind is that all of these amazing songs are collaborative efforts and not a one man grind
I love the fact that you know when it’s a flume song, every rapper and musician had the same shit nowadays because everything’s been done and flume just doesn’t know when to stop putting out bangers! Lots of drugs must help 😂
His songs are so precise, you try to find all those little details and it's always so perfect made. How the fuck you did that?! Fun fact he just tell what we know, it's obvious that you use a lot of fevers, granular synthesis and distortion, but how you made it in context...this is what we need to see!
He never does and probably never will, my guess is that he's scared of competition. He currently has an edge on everyone else in future bass production and sound design and wants to keep it, since his songwriting skills are quite basic
@@cheesus8594 Yeah and that's fair enough, but the title is pretty misleading considering he doesn't really share how he produced this track. There are plenty of other producer's out there just as good as him who actually show how they do things. If you don't want to share your techniques just say so, there's no point in just saying unhelpful stuff and pretending it's helpful haha.
GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA GHA Lol I would say the opposite His sound design skills aren’t anything amazing but the way he arranges the sounds are amazing Also he has a lot of competition in the future bass scene, namely Illenium

So so cool to hear about the Daniel Johns and Julian Hamilton input. Such a talented group of dudes with so much impact on the Australian music scene between them!
Tove Lo is such a talent, lyrically, musically and spiritually. So much respect for her.
She's nothing of note in my opinion in comparison to the rest of the pop competition, both vocally and lyrically
@@user-ve9tu5rv6e yea Selena Gomez is so much better than her.
@Esneyder Toledo check out her live sessions then
Tove Lo’s ‘Glad He’s Gone’ music video was recently nominated for Best MV of the year! She’s one of my all-time favorite artists.
DJJustFrank Selena doesn’t even write her own songs, more respect for Tove

Kyle Estment its because he has his own certain type of sound...which takes lots & lots of work to come up with
