But according to the datasheet of RYLR896, its communication range is 4.5Km - 15Km. But surprisingly the manufacturer (Rayax) has not mentioned the communication range or anything like that for the RYLR998 in its datasheet.. We have tested RYLR998's communication range. It was upto 5-6Km, provided with clear line of sight. It depends on lot of factors. like if tested at open space without any obstacles/buildings/hills in actual line of sight, then it should cover longer distances.
