Hey Travis ... AutoScale is great for MultiSession Pools ... but nothing so far for Personal Host Pool .. any suggestion on putting the VM in a deallocated state once the user as logged off?

Will the scaling plan deallocate AVDs between the ramp-up and the ramp down periods?

Hi Travis, would you happen to know if it would be possible for the auto scaler to create a copy of the VM it is scaling off of? The reason I need this is because we need to install some applications such as VPNs that we would like users to be able to use.

is it possible in 2024-OCT to have a 100% Cloud only AVD with FSLogix ???

Yes, but it requires Cloud Cache and Blob storage. techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/fslogix-blog/fslogix-profile-containers-for-azure-ad-cloud-only-identities/ba-p/3739352

Hi Travis, I am missing the Enterprise applications, is there some way of registering these? I've tried the consent page but that appears to only register the old version of WVD apps, I've tried registering the Microsoft.DesktopVirtuilzation resource provider within Azure subscription to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks!

Don't worry, I have sorted this, should've searched via APP ID, rather than by name. It's been there all along!

Hello Travis. Do you know what is the time interval when the scaling plan runs?

    • @Ciraltos

You set the time in the schedule for ramp up/ramp down.

Hi Travis, thanks for your detailed instructions. One question i have that i don't see app ID 9cdead84-a844-4324-93f2-b2e6bb768d07 in Enterprise App, even i had re-registered in subscription. Any idea?

Make sure the filters are removed form the enterprise app view. Also, try searching for Windows virtual Desktop and Azure Virtual Desktop. Mine is listed as Windows virtual destktop.
      Good luck!

The off-peak hours how can we setup 1 avd runs for 24/7?

You can either set the exclusion tag on a specific VM or you can set the minimum percentage to include a single machine. i.e. set it to 10% if you have 10 hosts.
