Thank god I could really able to see a realistic video over 2 weeks of watching RUclips related to cake baking . . All showed in their video is to pre heat a thick bottom aluminium vessel on stove or fire and some people poured salt in to the vessel and kept a stand inside that vessel but some people just kept empty aluminium vessel on fire or gas stove and kept the stand inside the vessel and over the stand they placed cake batter mold on it and cover the vessel with a lid fully covered and baked for 45 minutes in mediums flame , I m wondering won't the vessel get burnt and turn into black because there were no liquid inside that vessel which is on fire .. if anyone knows please reply me about this ???!
But you showed me a realistic practical and believable method ...thank you so much

    • @angelejah2954
      @angelejah2954 Год назад

The vessel might darken which can be washed . But it cant burn out of control or get destroyed . I use this method for all my cakes . Either I put sand . Or salt and steel pan or even another spoiled baking pan in the pot before standing my baking pan on it . Some times I just position three stones and stand the cake on it

    Thank you, a
great set up and good result. It convinces to taste ...... Indeed. It will be a challenge for you and a gift for the viewers to show more such technics, when there is no stove, oven, modern kitchen set up. What is a crucial factor for best results, is what tools/ pots, one uses.
TIP: Not very comon in Africa, but of great effectiveness are cast iron casserols. They come with perfect closing lid As cast iron is much thicker, so not much risc of burning what is inside, we used cast iron pots for breadbaking...it is so efficient and bread comes out perfect. in that case,..NOT to set the cast iron pot in or on a fire, BUT ONLY USE the Hot Charcoals, set pot with bread in hot coals and cover it with hot coals..
best is wood charcoal....as left by a fire. The great heat of charcoals- initially- will cure the dough well, and as they slowly coal down over 45 min-1hr the bread is perfectly baked inside. I am talking of bread that fills the cast iron pot , thus a big loaf...
    please continue 🌤️🌹

Baking is different from steaming. And you should've covered the pot inside with cloth to prevent the steam from mixing to the cake.

Place a large sufuria with water on the jiko and cover to boil.
Put 2 eggs in a bowl
    Add 1/2 cup of sugar
Beat egg and sugar until sugar dissolves making a paste.
Add a 3rd egg and vanilla essence and continue stirring
Add onto the sieve 2 tbs baking powder and stir some more
Add a cup of 250 mls of milk and stir
Add 1/4 cup of vegetable oil and stir to combine the mixture well
Add a cup of all purpose flour onto the sieve, sieve and mix well, sieve a 2nd cup of flour and stir. You may add a half cup of flour and combine the mixture thoroughly
Prepare a baking sufuria by putting oil / margarine all round the sides and on bottom.
Pour in this sufuria the cake mixture and tap sufuria on an hard surface to remove bubbles, then
Put this cake sufuria in the larger sufuria on the fire containing boiling water.
Cover both sufurias and let the cake get ready until when you poke with a knife it comes out dry.
The water steam helped also into baking this cake.
