Speaking in a third point of view perspective and in an objective manner, I believe that most of our preference or personal rankings for each round during RTK Ace of Ace are very deviated from the actual scores and rankings mostly due to the different fandom sizes of each group, as well as how the concept of each stage are perceived by the on-site audience. That is why even though some of the stages or performances are actually terrific and well-presented, some just really get mid-tier to very low rankings despite being a well-done job. Personally, I also think that the Self-Evaluation portion (even though it's only 30% of each Team Battle round) still affects the scores and rankings. In addition, this score category is very prone to the strategizing of the contestants themselves as they will choose not to vote for the teams who are ought to receive a high number of votes and will instead vote for teams who they think will get very few votes from the audience. I personally don't like that there is a Self-Evaluation at all ---- it should serve its purpose like for example, the artists will indicate which parts of their co-artists' stage are good and impressive and which parts have room for improvement --- just like how they did with Queendom 1 and Queendom 2. And Self-Evaluation on Queendom 1 and 2 are only 1,000 points out of 10,000 points for each round so it's just the appropriate amount of points. anyways yeah rtk2 had some nice stages but tbh the bi-track scoring system just made it messier and also the ace ranking urged many of the teams to make stage like a "one-man show" --- smth like ace and friends ngl
I really liked the No Diggity stage. Generally, I don't like the song, but I don't know if it's the added energy or something, but I just really enjoyed this performance of it. The rap part did seem kind of awkward though. Lol.
as a oneus stan this ranking is very respectable. tbh I think oneus' performance overall in rtk1 felt more exciting. ofc they still ate but I did feel like something was missing for some of the rtk2 stages
I lost interest in this competition around the 3rd episode. As an international fan the lack of English sub-titles to understand what the hell was going on and the constant camera flips from performance to idols responses while watching was extremely distracting. MNET didn't care at all about the international fans, and as a launchpad vehicle to get these artists to a wider audience I felt that was a really under-considered decision. Especially considering how the previous series helped to launch both Stray Kids and Ateez into the international arena. Personally? I felt Kingdom Ace of Ace was a flop. As for the groups and performances, I failed to be engaged by most of the groups except TNX who I think were only just starting to warm up, OneUs and 8-Turn. As for the combo of ATBO with that other group? Big mistake. Should have just kept ATBO on their own with the tight cohesive unit they were. As a relatively new group, distracting and confusing fandoms with the merge with the other group wasn't a good plan. BOAT loved the ATBO survival show story which the other group were not a part of. Don't fix what ain't broke. Let ATBO be ATBO.
Eunsang really lived up to the title of ace
eunsang, jaeyun, junseok, taeyong, hwanwoong were THE ace of ace. they embodied the spirit of the show so well
I only came here for Leedo thumbnail. Yes, I'm very weak. 😅
Jaeyun (8Turn) is former contestant of BOYS24 in Team Red (was eliminated at Final Stage of that survival show with same name)
