I love how they're staying in their style but at the same time exploring other genres/styles as well. I think Changbin summed it all up in a very cool way: rather than adding a dash of stray kids in the mainstream music, they instead added a hint of mainstream elements into their signature skz sound.

Tbh I kinda hate that he thought he needed to explain himself or something. Everyone has times where they're just a little lost in thought or less energetic, its normal and it doesn't mean you're not okay, just a bit listless for a while. But everywhere I went I saw Hans depressed, Hans so sad, there's something going on with him, why isn't he happy anymore, hes not making jokes, etc... Drawing so much attention to it and making it seem like it was something big when he was just a tiny bit less energetic/comedic. Idk to me it just makes me kinda sad he saw all that and thought he did something wrong

This is something I can really agree on. Most of the kpop idols tend to take the english pop music path. But stray kids always sticked to their own style and kpop style music.
They realised they were getting to mainstream in their music writing and started over from scratch with their unique style as a the key focus point. This is a big moment. Its not easy to walk away from months of work. That takes courage. And as a big fan of the SKZ flavour, I would have honestly been disappointed had we gotten a main stream album. There is no doubt in my mind that SKZ can write great mainstream songs, but so can others. The unique SKZ flavour I havent seen anywhere else, and it is what draws me to their music. So Chan, if you are out here lurking: I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the team for that decision. It must have been a tough one to make, so I respect it even more. And if you do want to go main stream someday, your life is your own and at the end of the day you don’t owe us anything.
I cherish Intros so much. It's like a separate celebration for me. The thoughts behind the album, the thoughts about the process of making it, just thoughts about everything. I love SKZ not only because of their music, but also because they are a beautiful, warm human beings. They struggle too, they strive for better, they're having fun, they're feeling down, they argue, but they never stop doing what they like. That what makes me stay. And yep, nothing lasts forever, but I'm looking forward to all the time we can spend together. I'll decorate my wheelchair for the SKZ 80th anniversary concert. twilight is my favorite on the album tho

Innie is so right; Han's voice is like waves, able to calm someone just by hearing it. The songs that Han has written are so comforting that you can feel his emotions-emotions that he can't show because of the toxicity of the world.

It's not connected but can I say something too? I think stretching Minsung concept and turning it into romantic relation angle can ruin their friendship and they might stop interacting in public. When I first heard "Cookin' like a chef" my only intention was to find out if that ridiculously deep voice had actually come from that angelic elfin face. I did NOT expect to be sucked into such hardcore fanhood that I have actually spent money on concerts, albums, and merch, and hours of my time watching everything I can find with these 8 men in it. I love music, but NEVER have I ever been this in love with a group that makes music, and I believe that it's because they genuinely don't just do this because it's their job, but because it's their life and their first love.

This is something I can really agree on. Most of the kpop idols tend to take the english pop music path. But stray kids always sticked to their own style and kpop style music.

They realised they were getting to mainstream in their music writing and started over from scratch with their unique style as a the key focus point. This is a big moment. Its not easy to walk away from months of work. That takes courage. And as a big fan of the SKZ flavour, I would have honestly been disappointed had we gotten a main stream album. There is no doubt in my mind that SKZ can write great mainstream songs, but so can others. The unique SKZ flavour I havent seen anywhere else, and it is what draws me to their music. So Chan, if you are out here lurking: I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the team for that decision. It must have been a tough one to make, so I respect it even more. And if you do want to go main stream someday, your life is your own and at the end of the day you don’t owe us anything.

I cherish Intros so much. It's like a separate celebration for me. The thoughts behind the album, the thoughts about the process of making it, just thoughts about everything. I love SKZ not only because of their music, but also because they are a beautiful, warm human beings. They struggle too, they strive for better, they're having fun, they're feeling down, they argue, but they never stop doing what they like. That what makes me stay. And yep, nothing lasts forever, but I'm looking forward to all the time we can spend together. I'll decorate my wheelchair for the SKZ 80th anniversary concert.

Its funny cause I've always thought stays needed to take it down a notch when they think he's depressed or something (like all the time almost 😅) but its interesting he actually addressed that here. I'm glad he did and I hope stays will really take note of this. And stop trying to connect things and add more meaning to things that isnt necessary. Hanners, you heard it from the man himself. He feels bad that he's made people worry in the past. Let's not make him feel worse by questioning why he makes certain gestures or facial expressions or is too quiet or not being goofy enough in your opinion. Every single one of us has great days and off days and that doesn't necessarily mean there's an underlying issue.
He acknowledges things were rough at one point but Jisung is just fine. Look at him, he's happy! He's said for over six months now he's fine but ppl still think he's not fine and just lying so we won't worry.

It's not connected but can I say something too? I think stretching Minsung concept and turning it into romantic relation angle can ruin their friendship and they might stop interacting in public. Friendship, or whatevership they have we should not force into their faces or ask it on the live chats or on Bubble or fans. It's really strange and sad that people intrude in this and even are ready to cuss and curse the people who don't agree with them or tell them to let it be.
I love how they always mention stays in everything, it shows the enormous affection they have for us and how they actually care about whether it's going to be good enough, I think that's so admirable and cute.

I did NOT expect to be sucked into such hardcore fanhood that I have actually spent money on concerts, albums, and merch, and hours of my time watching everything I can find with these 8 men in it.
I love music, but NEVER have I ever been this in love with a group that makes music, and I believe that it's because they genuinely don't just do this because it's their job, but because it's their life and their first love.
