- Polishing my arrow makings skills. It's one of the first sets I've made. Still a lot of lessons to be learnt. This set was made with the use of birch dowels and turkey feathers.

Glad you enjoyed the video!
A little tip, you can use steam to get those feather really smooth and repair the damage done with manipulation and constant shooting,
Thanks for the tip! Have to try it
Great craftmanship as always
Thank you appreciate it!
Well done! Good craftmanship.

Best arrows ive made are from small diameter bamboo, you should try it out
Thanks for the tip! Sure I will
I was to focused, then the pencil sharpener appeared and I just died xD

Appreciate it!
You don’t spine your arrows?
Good job...
Thank you!
What is the weight of these arrows??
A jig for cutting self-nocks is available from 3 Rivers Archery, which includes a slot for horn/wood reinforcing, perpendicular to the string cut
Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out
Bạn cho mình hỏi gỗ bạn làm mũi tên là gì vậy, cảm ơn nhiều.
Please tell me you do actually have a fletching tool? doing the feathers with hand is impressive!
I don’t use fletching tool. My fletching work is far from perfect
Good
Thanks 👊
Great videos! What diameter and length are the dowels?
Thank you! 8mm
Were did you buy the dowels and what diameter are they? Really awesome video by the way!
Thank you! Bought them online from archery shop, but most of them were useless.
Can boiled linseed oil work instead of a water base varnish?
Yes sir 👊
It's a shame that you had to waste so many dowels. The craftsmanship involved in making those arrows is impressive- good work!
Yes, few of them had decent grain. Thank you!
How are the threaded ends holding up? Anyone got any tips for that? I think it looks beautiful but on my arrows the thread broke after a while. I painted the thread on it in the end but real thread looks way better!
Where did the points come from?
Bought them online
I put plastic nocks on mine. They are fairly cheap
💪💪
Ein Bausatz für alle Fälle!?!? DTdkf.!
😊😊❤❤
You don't make your own shafts?
Usually I make - from hazel or dog rose shoots
You forgot to show us cutting the knocks ACROSS THE END GRAIN

Bekommt jetzt jeder einzelne Pfeil einen Namen, nachdem man durch den ganzen Aufwand eine derartig enge Beziehung zueinander hat?
Ich frage für einen Freund.
No, but usually I name my bows

Then I was already close.
there is nothing traditional about attacking chinese made tips and fletching to a piece of dowel. I carve my own shafts, hand make my own tips from scrap metal and hand make and hand attach my own fletching ( from real feathers ) no jigs.
