You're right, it does indeed work that way. Personally, I had no idea. I always just assumed it would assign excess damage randomly to the adjacent units.

And the “slow round 1” con isn’t even an entire round con-after playing the highland warriors you get to play the raid cards on the same turn and have the payoff immediately. It’s only a couple of instance where I felt the “slow round 1” against warriors, and all decks can have those moments too. This deck is overtuned. High removal with points.
I made a sihil version of warriors but with magic compass Works much better, can bring out fucusa or the pirate scenario when needed Or lippy against mill

Did this deck really deserve a 4 provision nerf? Metallic Danny really recommended both nerfs and got both. Suggested out of a desire for balance? Or just killing decks that he doesn't like?
Yeah having to use Highlander Warlord and mulligan for them on R1 means we will often have to play from behind in R2 and R3, given its a slow play for two turns.

I second this ask - looking to build my first Skellige deck and was going to use this build, but now it is 169 provisions.

This deck need some purify unit. Every opponent saves lock for Tyr.
Who cares? It's an 8 drop that grabs a 14-18 point drop. Let them waste their lock on it.
replace harald with kaer trolde and the deck is uch more competetive against meta decks
