This is a tale as old as time and definitely not realistic in this day and age. There is ALWAYS a price to pay when relying financially on a partner 💯 And to be honest, I don’t think there are many men even willing to do this anymore. I have been married for almost a decade, but my friends who date tell me that a LOT of guys expect to go 50/50 on dates, expenses, etc. And you’re right, it’s a very unstable situation that could change at any moment - which is not reassuring in this economy 😅
Depends 🤷♀️🤷♀️ I definitely prefer staying at home to actually raise my own children, and have the privilege of spending my life with my family instead of wasting it working. The man is a provider and protector 💜
