Charles Ehredt takes the stage at IESE Business School in Barcelona to detail his idea for a new global currency that could completely shift the way we think about money. Converting loyalty points into a global digital currency can help entrepreneurs, immigrants, and small businesses take better control over financial service costs.
Charles Ehredt has over 30 years experience helping companies align business processes, teams, and technology with clearly defined business strategy. Charles has also been a Business Angel investor in 23 companies spanning financial services, technology development, e-commerce, and manufacturing. More recently, Charles was Group Director of Innovation and New Ventures for eDreams ODIGEO and now focuses on helping companies understand the future of the travel industry and loyalty.

there is a major flaw in this idea: a coin which is pegged to a national currency, is pegged to its debt base and massive inflation over the years. think about what you could afford in the 70ies, 80ies or 90ies with 20 usd and what you can afford today with that amount.
