Wow. I haven't really seen any of your videos pop up for a while now, and I can't believe how far along the studio is from how it started. It looks so amazing, I feel like you've achieved something so great! I wish I could be a part of it
i love this all. i found this just as i was finishing up a small biz development class in my community. this is one of my dreams and i love that i found your channel just as it was coming together for you.
Congrats! Looking great! It is really clever to take a break in construction work to make some pots. I feel that sometimes construction and remodeling never really ends. Especially when you own a business. It is like living, evolving place and you will feel that you never stoped making it better. And that is trully nice thing. Best of luck! And don't forget to smell some flowers from time to time. Because it is easy to get overwhelmed or burn yourself out. ♥️
I'm so happy for you!! And I can really see how much you are happy *-* As always, I can't wait to see what will happens in that beautiful space! I already follow some of "your" potters and I'm always excited to see what they create in that space :D amazing job, guys :D
This is sooo exciting!! I am beyond impressed. LOVING everything and can't wait to see this space full of joy with members, chatter and clay dreams coming true! Hope to be able to visit in the future. Does not look small! It looks gorgeous and ample space for multi-use. I would totally build/incorporate a little cafe area/coffee/ drink station (maybe a lil fridge?) - I'm sure members would love some coffee and or drinks - but maybe there would be an extra licensing/permit issue?
Hello Melbournian, I can't believe I just found this youtube channel! Beautiful space, I would love to visit 1280.gallery soon :D - I've been making ceramic from home since the lockdown last year (my previous ceramic workspace more than 5km radius from home), thinking to get a studio space but unfortunately, I live far away from Brunswick.
Hi Ali! May I ask, where did you find your kiln from? I'm in WA and looking at finding a similar kiln. Front loading, high fire, around 200 liters. How much was your kiln? Thanks much, absolutely love your space and your journey building it up!

When we move and expand we will definitely have a cafe, but at this stage its just out of our budget :(

The one in the video is a old tetlow that is a rental from GE kiln, we also have a Rohde KE200S that I absolutely love but its pricy.
I would paint the beams and posts in white wash
