The percussions sound somewhat tropical... quite Latin... close to the rhythm of a romantic Bolero. Beautiful song. Agnetha is perfect as usual. (Happy birthday Agnetha 🩷!) Great video, Sue! Take care. Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
This has always been one of my favourites from this album "I Stand Alone". Laidback back but very strong. My absolute favourite from the album is "Let It Shine" which incidentally does have a music video 🙏💗
Yes Sue, this is indeed a lovely song, and sung beautifully by the gorgeous Agnetha .. Always great to hear anything by her, so your reaction was much appreciated .. I really need to make time to listen to her solo stuff more often .. As you said, everything she touches turns into musical magic .. Hope she has a very happy birthday ! ❤
6th of April 1974 Abba had their big breakthru winning the ESC with Waterloo in Brighton.Europe's musicworld lives under an ABBA celebration these days with lots of Docus on Abba's 50 years.
Happy Birthday Agnetha! 🎉 This was a deep cut, nice one! However did you find this song Sue? The album is actually produced by Americans and recorded in the US by Agnetha, but if it did something there I have no idea. The album did well in Sweden even with a more "American sound" than usual for Agnetha, but this wasn't one of the singles from the album so it couldn't hit any charts. Three other songs got released though, my favourite is "Let It Shine". It has a album version and a radio edit I believe, both good but I prefer the radio edit. Agnetha has a lot of great music, that's for sure. Nice that you honored her today with a reaction! 😊
Hi Guinevere, thanks a bunch. I will check let it shine out. I came across this one because it popped up in my feed as a suggestion. I get all kinds of stuff everyday especially if I have listened to an artist. It is cool. I saw it and thought, let's give it a listen😊. I loved this song. This could have definitely been a single. It is so good 🤩💙💛
@@Tifoso711hey Jocke 😊 Peter Cetera was one of the lead singers and bassist for the band Chicago. Yes I agree. She looked great here...she always looks great 🤩❤️
Peter Cetera was the producer of the album and i love this tender ditty. He was a big fan of Abba.Agnetha also lfancied his work.Peter also does B.Vocals.The real star of this album is 'The Last Time"!Whole album has a nice American flavoured sound btw.
Hi Christiano, thanks so much as always. I appreciate the back story. I will check the song The Last Time out. I really enjoyed this one so if that one is better, I am excited to hear it 🤩💙
Hi sweet Sue😍 Now i think that you have totally forgot how amazing the super talent Tommy Johansson is. She`s been gone too long now!!! So plz go for his stunning cover of "She`s Gone" by Steelheart. Would love to see a reaction from you on that cover. Cheers from Sweden 🍻
Hi Mats, so lovely to hear from you. I did not forget about Tommy...heads up for tomorrow, you may hear from him 😉. I will check out the song you suggested. Thanks a bunch 🤗💙
Unfortunately for a song to become a hit it needs to be released as a single. I do not think it was. I have only just realised what a fantastic late birthday present Waterloo winning Eurovision must have been for her. Thanks for celebrating her birthday.
Happy Birthday Agnetha After Abba split there were a slew of worlds best songwriters vying to work with all the members Agneta recorded 3 or 4 albums and had songs from Dianne Warren , Jeff Lynne , Justin Heyward and in this case Peter Cetera Im not sure why but the spark just wasn’t the same This is a good song by most standards but certainly not Abba level . I don’t think it was released as a single outside of Sweden I forgot to mention Agnetha played Mary Magdelene in Jesus Christ Super Star ( 1972 ) before Abba A better post Abba move ( and since so beloved in Australia ) would have been joining John Farnham in revival of JCSS No offense to Kate Ceberano But John and Agnetha together One can only dream

Great ear, Alejandro! It does have a great rhythm for sure. Always a pleasure my friend 🥰💜

Hi Wayne, yes I will have to listen to more of her solo stuff too. This was a really nice treat from the birthday girl 🎂🎉🎈🥰💜
This is lovely, I've never heard it before but her voice is so strong and sweet, really nice catchy tune.
Hi Kim, I agree. This is a lovely song with a great message to boot. She is amazing 😍

Right! What a fantastic present that must have been for her to have won with Abba the very next day! It was meant to be wasn't it, Andy 🥰

Oh wow, Jesse, yes having Agnetha and John together in JCSS would have been out of this world 🌎🤩🧡
Hi Sue, the voice is wonderful, but there is a lack of magic, probably because in my view, the song isn't the best she has recorded.
Hey Dave, thanks for your take. I always respect your opinion. It is ok to disagree sometimes 😀💙
