Her work ethic and dedication is top notch for any age. I imagine she is the best at whatever it is that she is doing today. Phenomenal young lady and hoping to hear from her again!
I know that it would take me a HELLUVA long time to reach this young lady’s skill!!!! Though I would really love to be able to play that well, I have to be honest and say I doubt I will ever be that good!!
I love her playing. And absolutely in love with her smile after a wellplayed number. 😍🌷 Love her Gary Moore - The Loner the most, because I'm not too much into the harder rock. But I do honestly think she expresses emotion through music just as well as Gary Moore himself does in that piece.
This is a classical pro performer stepping into the rock arena where players are basically self taught. She is flawless and must have had exceptional teacher(s).
Glad you mentioned how hard it is to move arpeggios around to different positions like that. It's far more challenging than getting set before you let it rip. If you have mastered this art, plus the tapping and tremelo, you might be able to play this piece with a few months of work.
Love Her. One Guitar player that I have found no other to match up with, is John Williams. Take a listen to him and see and watch how he plays. I see nothing but joy in his face.
If You like Great String Musicians then you will love to see a little girl out of Russia that plays a 3 String Lute. Her first Name is Anna. Look her up on RUclips and see how as young 5 year old has taken the world by her great playing.
A critique from someone who clearly knows what he is talking about and can articulate what it is that makes Tina a truly great guitar player is so much more instructive than the dozens of other “reactors” on RUclips that do little more than swoon over her. Thank you, Sergei!

I'm considered to be very talented. Compared to this incredibly gifted lady, who I'm convinced is an alien from a far more technically developed planet, my playing sounds like my instrument. Is 4 rusty metal strings attached to a long steel pipe. Folks, you are listening to as close to perfection as it gets. I was at a concert in Lyon, France with her and Joe Satriani. They were playing simultaneously and at one point, Joe just stopped playing and walked over to Tina just to watch her. His face had a look of sheer joy and disbelief. When asked what he thought of Tina's playing, he stammered and murmured, "Fuck me sideways. She passed genius level lifetimes ago and has achieved perfection." this, from Joe Satriani, a true God. I often feel very motivated to practice after watching this. Practice is really the way we can close the gap with more talented people. If I could learn to do descending scales leading with my pinky - MY PINKY - then anybody could. It just takes repetitions using correct technique and then it all comes eventually.
Steve Vai said shredding or playing other people pieces skillfully is one skill, but creating your own music takes a totally different set of skill set. I sure hope her creativity matches her skill set, that would be awesome. I sure hope one day she puts out her own music for us to enjoy.
So, you aren't blown away with her playing even though she's ONLY 17? She has been playing at this level since she was 14 yrs. old! What were you playing like at those ages? Not blown away? Yeah right!
There is a potential problem with doing it that way. You hear it a lot; a parent forces a hobby onto the child (whatever it maybe) and the kid although gets good hates doing it and therefore ruins the hobby for them. Hopefully this is a case of a hobby nurtured rather than put upon
to all the haters out there that influenced her retreat from posting videos saying that she being a young woman couldn't possibly have that finger strength, she could probably flick her pinky and knock you off of your feet!
Tina is a schoolgirl, she only does 1 hour of guitar per day, because she has her homework to do. She was tapping in her 1st video after only 10 months of practice in the video of Van Halen, aged 14.
Dennis - Your observation is spot on. And while I do think this particular "review" is genuine and spontaneous - many others that have been recently up-loaded stink of trying to look or appear as if the "Reviewers" are seeing this for the first time. They fill their critiques with “borrowed” phrases and witty comments such as “I am selling or throwing away all my guitars”. Just a bunch of jerks trying to appear unbiased and knowledgeable… and failing.
@@GStones58 you are correct that some reviewers are not being honest, but quite a few are honest. Just because a thing exists in a world full of competing things doesn't mean everybody has seen it. No, this is the second time! On Vivaldi she put her guitar like this: ruclips.net/video/DIGfO2Dgc9Y/видео.html Tina started with the classical guitar at the Conservatory.
I don't know if you have seen any Guthrie Govan stuff (THE complete guitarist)..anyway, he has a hairband behind the nut of his guitar when playing normally (normally! are you kidding!) and in a lightning flash he flips the hairband over the nut to mute the strings for his tapping extravaganzas.

Tina: The environment is very important. It is necessary to have a solid foundation and the base is represented by family and friends. Do not take the big head, remain down to earth, and especially try not to get unnecessary pressure, continue to have fun and not think about getting millions of views, but just to play for my own pleasure.
Q : Do you feel invested with a special mission because you 're a girl and you are in a very male dominated environment?
Tina: Not particularly. It is true that it's good to succeed in a world where the dominant by men. It is important to show that a girl can play as well as a man.
Q : What is your favorite guitar?
Tina: My favorite guitar is the Vigier which you can see on my videos.
Q : How is the collaboration with Vigier?
Tina: There are no special collaboration. However, I was invited by Patrice Vigier to visit his factory. It was a great honor to meet him but there is currently no collaboration with Vigier as with any other brand of guitar.
Q : Do you have any plans to play in a group?
Tina : At the moment no. I focus on a my personal work in order to have the fullest possible. Of course, I do not put aside the possibility of being part of a group in the future, but this is not the case at the moment.
Q : What are your next projects?
Tina: As I said earlier, I do not like to talk about things to come. This puts particular pressure me, and I prefer to keep them for me to play without expectations.
Thank you for your answers and good luck for the future!
Pierre Journel.
Thank you for posting this - very interesting.
Interview when she is 14 years old.
Her work ethic and dedication is top notch for any age. I imagine she is the best at whatever it is that she is doing today. Phenomenal young lady and hoping to hear from her again!
Thank you for liking Tina. She is my favorite! Hope to see her again in the future.
Man. I've seen the dexterity and skill it takes to play this on piano. She makes this seem like there's no effort to this it all.
She practiced 40 hours a day for sure
Time management they call it. Everybody has a 40 hour day if you just... Who am I kidding. I watch RUclips 45 hours a day.
Lingling40 reference in the wild?
@@JustinKuanomics she's LingLing enough for me :) Brett and Eddy would agree
😊🎸
@ you're not LingLing then
Her cover is so clean and pure. Unreal.
I know that it would take me a HELLUVA long time to reach this young lady’s skill!!!! Though I would really love to be able to play that well, I have to be honest and say I doubt I will ever be that good!!
Tina is back on track with a band ! Just got the news ! 🤗🤗🤗
Tina S. Is Friggin’ AWESOME 👏 💯 I hope 🤞 She Returns soon 🔜 I am Sure her Fans miss her I sure as hell Do
maaan! She is fucking FIRE!
That was amazing! !
I love her playing. And absolutely in love with her smile after a wellplayed number. 😍🌷 Love her Gary Moore - The Loner the most, because I'm not too much into the harder rock. But I do honestly think she expresses emotion through music just as well as Gary Moore himself does in that piece.
You got it! That smile didn't say I got this but I ACED THIS!
best I have seen in 70 years and so young lol
This is a classical pro performer stepping into the rock arena where players are basically self taught. She is flawless and must have had exceptional teacher(s).
thank you!!!
Someone did a count and said she averaged over 7 notes per second for this. If true (for a piece this long) that is incredible.
One of the best reviews on Tina S I've seen to date. Thanx
I'm just gonna nail my guitars to the wall...
LOL
This....this is the motivation I needed to quit after my guitar saw her video and looked at me, asking when can I sell it for a better guitarist...
Your comments are great for all those to proud to acknowledge a Lady's great guitar skills and a life time of practice. Just look at Tina as 8 yrs old paying classical guitar.
The reach(spread) this young lady has with her left hand makes my fingers ache just watching! She's Incredible!
2:38 yeah yeah I’ve seen it all before. BUT I’ve never seen anything like THIS!

I've been playing for 45 years. I have my master's degree in solo classical guitar performance.
Been following Tina for years, natural.
It clearly shows that I am blind, but until you pointed it out, I had no idea she used a hair band on the guitar and I've watched this cover so many times.
When you have Dr Viossy as your tutor, the best can be your only achievement!
Neither her nor Viossy's video are played at the actual speed they were recorded.
The premise that there is a guitar teacher reviewing this and he doesn't mention that it's BS speaks volumes...also...a guitar teacher that ANCHORS his right hand ??????? Please....
When you have Dr Viossy as your tutor, ??????? HAHAHAHAHA idiot !
Neither her nor Viossy's video are played at the actual speed they were recorded.
HAHAHAHAHA IDIOT !!!!
Its nice to see somone doing a reaction vid without stopping it every two minutes to talk about it.👍
I've followed this young lady under a long time.
Imho she is one of the best there is
Her accuracy is perfect.
Her tecnique has her own signature.
I love her playing and I miss her badly.
Super clean and very precise playing !!! The girl is a virtuoso, putting the men too shame !!!! And so darn young....got a great career ahead of her, I look forward too seeing more of this kid's playing
She was like 16-17 when she did this back in 2016 god she's beyond awesome and then some 🤘 she could be in any metal band hand's down 🎶🎶🎶🎸🎸🎸🤘love Tina! Wished that she come back!!!
- She did this in August 2016, she was 17 years and 4 months old.
This made me cry -- mostly because it is a cruel reminder how much I need to practice!
Ur face sums up what the rest of us feel , how can I even try
So, you aren't blown away with her playing even though she's ONLY 17? She has been playing at this level since she was 14 yrs. old! What were you playing like at those ages? Not blown away? Yeah right!
calm down it’s him being honest
she's a prodigy
This is what happens when you've had a guitar in your hands since birth.. Her dad made sure of that. She's truly amazing!
Since birth? It was in the womb with her.
There is a potential problem with doing it that way. You hear it a lot; a parent forces a hobby onto the child (whatever it maybe) and the kid although gets good hates doing it and therefore ruins the hobby for them. Hopefully this is a case of a hobby nurtured rather than put upon
Thanks for such an honest review
She is just so awesome
Damn we all miss you Tina its not the same on you tube without you girl please I m begging you to come back
Tina is phenomenal
Not only that, but in LONG SLEEVES!
LMAOOOO im a guitarist and didnt notice the hairband on her guitar. Guess i was just too impressed to notice 😂
Me too
to all the haters out there that influenced her retreat from posting videos saying that she being a young woman couldn't possibly have that finger strength, she could probably flick her pinky and knock you off of your feet!
Robert Linscott now can only hope she comes back / wait for her return
Flawless victory
OK Mister. You said it. Let's hear you play it. This difficult song is for the most talent. Very few in the world can pull it off.
Tina is a schoolgirl, she only does 1 hour of guitar per day, because she has her homework to do. She was tapping in her 1st video after only 10 months of practice in the video of Van Halen, aged 14.
What's with all the sudden Tina S reactions? This has been around for years and within the last month these reactions are coming out of the woodwork.
I only found it this year. Absolutely my all time favorite piece, partly because I'm a Beethoven fan but also I love her technique. The vibrato, nobody ever mentions the vibrato, but it's exquisite.
Every one has been stuck home because of the pandemic and going down every rabbit hole on RUclips. They have extra time and have just now discovered her.
@@zeppelinmexicano I was commenting about the numerous Videos posted by so called “knowledgeable” guitarists or “aficionados” which present themselves as watching Tina’s M/S performance for the first time and doing a running review as if they are seeing it for the first time. With out question they are lying. And I do believe you know exactly what I am talking about. And of course there are many genuine videos offering honest opinions and critiquing as the “reviewer(s)” honestly believe. I feel this video is one of the later.
It's because of the lockdowns. People are out of the newest content so they are digging up old stuff. It's not such a bad thing. We're so over saturated with entertainment that most people miss out on a good 80% of it.
So dam fundamental and clean she's definitely one of the greats! People like this don't come along that often.
One of the definitions of genius is make the incredibly difficult appear easy.. I think she meets the definition
0:52
The moment he realized he fucked up
I appreciate your candor.
Sublime !!!
- If you want to play like TINA, her teacher is Renaud LOUIS-SERVAIS
Shredding is finally an understatement..Nobody on the planet can play like that! If you know of anyone better, please share
This was Tina's first Guitar Lesson
Kiss While Your Lips Are Still Red by Nightwish. Live version. I've always been wondering what little "thingy" Troy uses in his hand while playing that beautiful guitar part. The last time i asked that same question in a different channel, answer was: "His hand?" xD
He uses a EBow on that song.
I bet he can't play like her!!! How can you criticise perfection!!! Who else can hit harmonics or play like Tina S!!! She is a fucking goddess!!!
She plays Malmstein Vai better than they can play themselves
good honest reaction. I liked it
hmmmm..........going to have to re-examine my picking style
Basically Sergey, she obliterates the rest of us. I know it, you should and I’m sure my fellow viewers will agree. All hail the queen of shred 🤟🏻
Sergey wasn`t blown away by this performance. Envy much??
A lot of male guitar players have probably their own hair bands. 🤷🏼♀️ 🤘🏻
So far I really enjoyed Herman Li's reaction to Tina's cover of Dragonforce from when she was 15 the most. He was ready to higher her as a stand in for him.
So amazing.. and she's like 16(17?) years old in this video I think.
Too bad she does not post anymore. I never understood her haters.
3 possibilities..1.Tired of the haters 2.Discovered boys(lol). 3. In college and is focusing on that.. ;)
There are lot of insecure little boys out there.
Tina s jams period.
Marcin Patrzalek: Asturias, Still D.R.E, Toxicity, Moonlight sonata... He is amazing!
Ling Ling: “Tina, look kid, don’t beat yourself up. You have potential… you just really need to practice more, you will get there.”
She's playing it as close to the piano as possible.
What you should have said is ' One of the Best you have ever seen!'
I think she listened to a lot of Symphony X..Michael Romeo is amazing :)
Tina S is amazing, but the original arrangement of this piece was made by Dr. Viossy, an italian and amazing player, who is now working on his solo album. Go check him out guys. He has some really awesome videos and he is an incredible guitarist.
React to Ayla- since i've been loving you led zepellin cover , she has a great felling!!! Good reaction
Led Zeppelin*
Nice to see, so honst feedbk n commnt, tina can outply evn the gretst guitrsts we worship!!
This man is the only person to say she can play better than himself, really appreciate his honesty with that. Shenington awsome nor seen better wow hats off to her honestly I am a fan of hers Shevington amazing beyond belief.
Another thing that I first noticed is that Miss Tina S. is also playing this with her guitar resting on her left leg on the left side of her body. Seeing as most player's rest their guitar over the right leg or on their right side of their bodies.
No, this is the second time! On Vivaldi she put her guitar like this: ruclips.net/video/DIGfO2Dgc9Y/видео.html
Tina started with the classical guitar at the Conservatory.
You mentioned 80's metal - she does a lot of great covers of Metallica, Dragon Force, etc.
Tina was praised by all guitar magazines for this cover, and Pink Floyd retweeted this video!!
What's a good wireless solution for the home guitarist and maybe interfaces you like? I currently got recommended a G10S.
