It's market day in Luskan, and makeshift stalls and stands crowd the streets, as if to choke the very flow of people passing by. Taking advantage of the multitude of vendors to stock up and search for better equipment, your party diffuses into the crowd, leaving you alone to peruse the various instrument vendors. A knuckle gently raps on your side, as a voice from behind inquires, "Aye, lad! Are you the bard who tore it up last night at the Drunken Drum?" Unsure of what this mysterious voice's intentions are, you prepare yourself for as you spin around to confront it. Relief washes over you when you glance upon the amulets hanging around this cloaked figure neck. You don't even need to see the long, brown hair or the scraggly fuss of a beard to know this is the legendary bard instructor and instrument vendor CS Guitar. (What? You'd think I'd start this adventure off in a tavern?)
The campaign is just a party of bards on tour looking for their big break. Most gold comes in from merch, tavern owners only pay in drink tickets, and a percentage die is rolled every day to see if the cart's wheel breaks and needs to be fixed.

Great video. Very complete and well executed. And I liked the amp itself. I'm not a high-gain guy, but this amp is a whole other thing when it comes to Revv and I've always wanted an excuse buy one of their amps. Maybe it's time... Cheers, mate
Seems really interesting! I absolute despise cabinets (both when it comes to tone and convenience), so if I wanted a tube sound I'll definitely get one.
@@antonstefanov2146 I generally prefer IRs for practicing at home because it gives me a less raw more processed tone, like the sound I would hear on a recording (pretty unpopular preference, I know). I think it would be interesting if he started a series on how various pedals/effects work on an electrical level (ex. the overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedal video all the diagrams and such)
Looks amazing and I was about to lose hope for a light, portable home tube amp and small gig jam box and head straight to modelers. I think this along with a Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 or ENGL Ironball would be perfect combo.
Colin, I told you I was done with my hunt for gear and getting my core tone... And now I want this amp. Dammit. Wait, there's no official retailers in my country. I should be safe for a while. Whew.
Damn Colin! An excellent demo of an excellent product. I want one. It will destroy the Orange micro dark I use now. I have to find one in white now though. I've only seen black online. Nice patina on your dragon dice too. Classy look.
Can you use a cab and balanced out to the PA at the same time? I'd like to be able to run this to the front of house, but still use the cab to monitor my sound from the stage, and at least hear myself on stage.
Hopefully more amp makes follow this path. Mesa Boogie has this with headphone and cab clone and ENGL Ironball has headphone jack as well. I wish Bogner, Friedman, and Marshall would come out with a DI/load box and headphone option in their small amps.
I do too but wish it had a better high gain besides the awesome clean and features. I think for a clean pedalboard platform however it is superb in a small portable box.
Have you ever demo'ed a Blackstar HT Stage 100 (or any of that series)? I know it's not the newest model, but dude them are real good amps. Hmm, I think your timing on the Sultans of Swing needs some work (I think you'll agree on listening to this back). However, love your posts dude, keep em coming. That V of yours is freakin' awesome. Have you tried using a volume pedal for those swells? Much easier to do.
I do love my HT Club 40. Very affordable, very capable. The reverb is a little bit lackluster, but I've got 3 different reverb pedals, so I never notice.
Hey, Colin. This is an excellent video. Also... Can the BBEG in my next game intend to make all guitarist use clean channels and cheap drive pedals, possibly with a forewarning by a prophetic cameo?
ok, now I want a rpg campaign based on enchanted musical instruments and gear.
Shadow run mod anyone?... just a suggestion cuz i have NO idea how to pull it off 😅

Rainbow riff: 10+... Love that song! Nice little amp. It would be nice to have around muh studio.

Colin should do a campaign with other music youtubers and make it into a podcast that comes out every other week or something.

How many takes did it take you to roll a 20?? After purchasing the G4 pedal, i absolutely love what Revv is doing.. 🤘
This has great clean sounds. But if you crank it up and add a treble booster, it'll probably give great classic 70's tones as well.
That HM2->RAT bit *almost* sounds like Vortex of Pain by Megadeth. Weird.
Like the Reverb - Trem - Compressor thing is almost Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits?
And 10:23 is almost the Solo of Back in Black

I've been looking into the D20 and pairing it with my Victory preamp and Helix Hx Effects.
D20 or G20 with any of the Victory V4 is the win ! Kraken for Monster tones, shérif for the good rocks and the copper for a sweet clean 👀
at times play with John Bonham type very loud drummers, can this amp be heard over that when gigging?
