Ra is the beej letter in the word Narayana and Ma is the beej alphabet in the word Namashivaya! If you take ma from Namashivaya then it becomes Na Shivaya which means no shiva. Similarly if you take out Ra from the Word Narayana it simply means Na Ayana which is No Value. So Rama is such a versatile two syllable mantra. Ra flushes out all the sins one has done and Ma stops those sins from entering back in us. Chant Rama Rama Rama whenever possible, all your sins that you have done in your past lives and this life are absolved. On Nami Bhaghavate Vasudevaya!

I have been chanting V.S. for about a year now. But sometimes I am not consistent due to some issues. No ,regular chanting helps ,but sometimes one may miss due to emergencies ,whatever you do with faith is accepted only ,without faith it will not yield good results ,so it's ok if you miss it at times as long as the good intent is there to do it regularly

Sometimes a mantra may not suit you ,ideally this shd not happen with any sahasranama unless the way you pronounce the names are totally offtrack ,but it could mean that the negativity or your past bad karma is getting destroyed .See what happens over a 3 month period and take a conscious call

Try reciting it regularly without skipping. Do not ever stop it. Break the barriers. This is only my suggestion.

I started vishnu sahastranamam in 2005 and life changed into another level. Everything are okay and balanced and in in peace. I even recieved messages in dreams sometimes. I used to have a very tiny but damn painful varicose vein in my bicep in my arm right from my childhood till 2005, it vanished off by itself without any trace by 2007. Overall my experience with this 1000 names is beautiful. Peace will start flowing into your family slowly by time but for this you have to recite it regularly and with commitment. I used to wake up early, bath then recite sahastranamam then only I used to take breakfast. So some sacrifice you have to put then the results = 👌

Ram ram rameti ramme rame manorare, sahasranama tatulyam ram naam varananne (meaning simply chanting ram naam once is equivalent to chanting 1000 names of lord Vishnu ,so those who can't devote time to chanting Vishnu sahasranama can simply chant Om shri ramaay namah 108 times or even Shri ram 108 times daily
