If Bob Ross was a bass fisherman I'd imagine he'd sound like you. Very informative short video.
so true this video is very calm and it just feels like we are having a nice conversation it’s very relaxing
Helped me out alot! caught a 7lb 9oz. fish on a 3/4th oz spinner bait
Nice catch!
Just me or did anyone else feel like they were sitting through an episode of Bob Ross painting a picture?
Very calming. Love it.
My favorite fisherman let me down!!! I’m actually kidding I grew up fishing the clear mountain lakes of north Arkansas (Bull Shoals, Table Rock, Beaver, Crooked Creek, etc.) so I was a little spoiled. The damn muddy water of south Mississippi where I fish now is tough...I hate the muddy water!!!
I came to make this comment
Tap tap tap, titanium white!!!
Cody LeBleu dame here man. From the lower Ozarks but recently moved to the valley and man I suck.
I love how you talk about fishing. I don’t get lost in fluff, or unnecessary yapping. You lay down real info, real tips, and proven technique. Thank you so much. Also, no music, just nature. So nice.
Of all the videos I've seen on patterns, this was by far the Best! The drone footage really explained things!
Great information Scott! And you deliver it in the most eloquent manner. You don't hold back. Long been a fan of your dad. Great to see you carrying on the tradition.
Literally the only RUclipsr that i like to listen too, the tips are not only good but he explains why and how the bait works thank you Scott Martin
Thanks for the tip lots of rain and muddy conditions right now. Just getting into bass fishing. Love the videos.
I loved the aerial shots of showing the transitions, that was really helpful! Thanks Scott!
God bless 🙏
Scott your Dad has been a life long positive influence in my Bass fishing. I started following him before you came along. His way of talking and explaining are for me the best. Here of late I have been following you and you are just like your Dad. I can tell you like him really are wonderful to learn from. I just like listening to you as I can tell you really want to help others to grow in this great sport. So I thank you and never change .
Thank you so Jim!! I appreciate you
I do not know how to fish. I really appreciate the tutorial you just gave. Thank you.
For you to take the time out of your prefish day to share your tips is just awesome.. You are a great amBASSador of the sport.
One of the best videos you have ever made. I use the same method except my flip bait is a brushhog.
Excellent video. You teach things simple. You dont rush through things and you don't over teach. I get a lot from your videos when you teach. You keep it simple, but give a lot of information. I would like to see more videos like this one
I haven't seen any other pro given high quality lessons like this anywhere. Learning a lot! Thanks!
Great tips in this one Scott! Thanks I had to go back and watch this one again
Great tips. Thanks for explain and especially demonstrating them. I'll be fishing this afternoon and will give them a shot.
As an Okie that fishes Grand and Ft. Gibson almost exclusively I love these tips for muddy water since our lakes never have that super good visibility.
Over the top on showing your style of fishing great footage thanks Scott 👍
Fabulous discussion. Really appreciate the coaching and your attention to detail. 🎣
I love these instructional videos. It would be great to see a series of them such as 'summertime grass fishing', 'falltime smallmouth' etc.

Great info as always Scotty 👊😁🤙🐟
Great video, I especially like the view from the air with the drone.
Really liked the show I live in Louisiana and I know you have fished the red river Shreveport bossier area I've been using the right colors but you just taught me some new techniques thanks a lot for taking time out of your busy schedule to help us every day Joe's do what we love god bless you

Loved the vid thx for doing what you do for all of us
Another great video been a huge fan since day one thanks for all the tips and what you do
Nice video! I was wondering how to fine particular spots on the map that may hold fish. What particular do you look for....
Just the kind of video looking for... waters up here are super muddy with all the rain. Thanks
Scott Martin has gotten significantly better at this social media thing. I can see why sponsors would like to make deals with him. He's a great salesman with a room full of trophies to back up what he says. That's how to market a product!
You’re one of my favorite anglers and I’m 12 and I just want to say thanks so much for all the tips
Mr. Martin ! In it to WIN it!!!!! Good luck!
I love these lectures Scott. please do more
I love these types where they show the lures, show how they fish them, what colors they use and why they are using them.
I’ve watched your videos for a long time and enjoy all of them, but I really liked this one. Just pure fishing! It was as if we were blessed to be in your boat learning from the best. Awesome and straight forward. Love it! Thank you.
Thank you so much

Learned a ton in this video thanks Scotty
Great video. One of the best I've seen in a while.
Thanks Scott this will help
Great video!!! Good luck on Champlain!!
I’d love to see tips on fish lakes that are majority standing/flooded timber, I see a few videos on fishing lakes with sections of standing/flooded timber but not really any on lakes that are mostly that!!
Just got my PB the other day and I noticed the same pattern with the warmer temps in certain areas of the lake. Caught her in the warmest section :)
Thanks very helpful
And informative video

Thanx.. br0..I will try those tips..when I get A chance..
I have watched almost every video for like almost 2 years. This Video is different. I swear I felt like I was right there in the boat.
This is the most instructive in depth video. I like them all but this one is awesome.
I agree. I would definitely like to see more videos like this
Much less action when you get out of S FL. He could take the time and give a tutorial because he didn't have bass jumping in the boat.
I LOVE THAT INTRO, VERY CASUAL, VERY PERSONAL, RIGHT TO THE POINT...
Awesome video, definitely gonna try the frog🐸
Great info and even better presentation. Loved listening to the soft spoken delivery.
🙏🏼
Great info Scott thankyou
Great content, this helped me out tremendously.
Great instructional. Thanks!
Thanks for the tips. I am a beginner bass fisherman and I don’t have a boat yet. Any tips on bank fishing would be greatly appreciated.😀
always love the tips
the drone shots showing exactly what he was talking about was really cool
Camera work was Epic. One of your best videos I've seen. Kudos. I'd love to see this as a video library, baits to fish hot, cold, muddy, low water, high water. Really good teaching here. Thanks!
Great tips Scott!
Next tip: FL bass fishing tips for July/ August.
Yes! Nothing beats a white spinnerbait or chatterbait in muddy water!
I love the effort you put in this video keep it up mate
A lot of good tips. You mentioned to keep an eye on the water temp. To me the water temp is very critical early season. A good week or two of consistent 45 - 50 degrees is good pre spawn water temp for largemouth but you never mention what the water temp was when you made this video. I was very curious about the water temp, mostly because there was no leaves on the trees. But it's all good, I have a pretty good idea what the water temp may have been but some younger anglers watching, may not know what temps to look for. I think they would rather hear it from you vs hearing it from me or anyone else. I enjoy watching your videos, keep up the great work.
Great informational video scott i learn alot by watching you
👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
I love Scott’s instructionals!
So do I!
Greats tips! 👍
Perfect timing I was just about to head out to the lake been having a lot of rain storms rolling through the past week making it pretty murky was contemplating what to get out there and throw and got this video notification right before I left perfect timing!
I love the video. It’s really detailed
great vid man! subscribed!
great presentation on reel gears & baits to use on them , i find this interesting as i am learning to use all 3 more frequently . Scott you got that flip fishing figured out to a tee & those live target baits are the bomb i just bought a purple & chart. crawdad i cant wait to use muddy water or clear on the purple? im not sure help!..lol..its just a new awesome color i have never seen
Brian Perren I’d personally use it in medium visibility in places to wear the ocean is near like an off stream. Because in closed off resivores or little lakes or whatever let’s say in Colorado, there no purple anything in those water so they might be excited... or way to suspicious! But if your closer to let’s say California, Florida, and streams off the coast you’ll have crazier colors of shit so it could work out better in those areas! But what do I know; never hurts to try it out
Great video Scott.
Great tips thank you for sharing anytime you get around Grand Lake do a video
Thanks Scott that will be helpful, I’m here in Fl up in Inverness some muddy water here Tsala Apopka lakes! And the Withlacoochee mostly! Almost forgot what reels do you use?
I love all these pro tips and they fish all these baits and never catch a thing. Tactical Bassn' especially.
There’s loads of videos of pure fishing Tactical has up, they catch tons! I think they focus lots of their videos on the tips, and separate from the fish catching videos.
Your making me want to go fishing now!!🎣👍👊
Go for it!
@@ScottMartinChallenge lures work great thank you for some advice
Great info Scott thank you! How bout some info on rivers in the summer!? Gettin hot up here in the Pacific Northwest! Love the videos and what you do!
For bass?
What rivers in the PNW? I'm in WA and new to bass fishing.
Okanogan River, Columbia River.
Finally a good video on stained and muddy water. My lake is a runoff for local fields so this happens a lot. What adjustments would you make as the spawn thins out and the heat turns up? You could do a whole series on different water and temperatures combine with time of year.
Great idea
Hope that’s a future series! Keep up the great content!
Thank you for the tips Scott 👍
It's crazy eveytime I see a bad ass video there's always a hater that hits the thumbs down button. Smh.. Keep up the awesome videos learn a great deal of fishing every time 👍 👍 👍
I used a Buzzbait here in PA when we had a week of rain and the water was REALLY muddy for the weekend when the weather finally cleared up. The buzzbait was absolutely my best choice. I also threw a Whopper Plopper and that was catching them left and right as well. I didn't have much luck on a spinner bait for some reason. But the Whopper Plopper and my Megastrikle Cavitron Buzzbaits were catching them just about every cast.
That Whopper Plopper is the deal
Bro these tips will really come in handy thanks scott
Thanks bro
Good luck Scott!
Great video , loved it
What a good information
Thanks man you are 👌 awesome
Thanks Scott
Those dang drone shots were AWESOME! BTW. Tell ol' Bill Taylor that the FLW needs to get back to his ol' stomping grounds Lake Cumberland. You did pretty well here... Yes you did!
