Brad, please consider the following before promoting the Moosetreks' product. The $-difference is mainly due to the real costs associated with paying American workers' salaries. Buying the cheaper import cheats the American worker and promotes the awful practice of exchanging those US jobs for low-paying (with often poor working conditions) jobs overseas. Additionally, the Revelate Designs product costs more because it is a small business and not a large corporation. Supporting RD, you support a small business.

I couldn’t agree more with this comment. I live in the UK where we are swamped with cheap Chinese knockoffs…

@@andrewwhitehead2002 Don't be mad at the product just be upset with the economy. thats what moves us towards the other cheaper options.

Thats good to know, I was thinking about picking up The Moosetrek just to try out, even though I love my two from Revelates. But with 4 years on the mossetreks, that says a lot. Might try it. Thanks.

I also love the Feed Bag, I used 2 riding Coast to Coast. One for food, the other for small gear items, even my stove. The feed bag is super convenient, worth the price, and I like supporting a company from Anchorage Alaska. Great Video.

I have one of Revelate Designs, wanted two feed bags, could not justify spending $50.00. I ended up going with the Moose Tracks, which are the feed bags I have when we did the Katy Trail. Gotta say I like them a lot.

I love the studio backdrop. Hard to justify twice the price other than that made in the USA stamp! I have a homemade bag which is no where near the functionality of those but it does what I need it to. Later down the line when rides get a little more hardcore I may be ordering one of those. Great video.

There's this one brand named Trek n' Ride in India, they make similar bags worth INR600, approx. USD7 at the time of commenting. Very affordable, very functional. I've got two. No idea if they ship international

God i wanna try those bars so bad, suckers are hard to find, but i will get a set w/ those long jones grips too👍my feed bag is a $10 military xl roll up dump pouch and I gotta say its amazing, even the velcro belt snaps and molle straps fit my application and it holds everything 1 liter water bottle, snacks, phone, keys ect.. also has a cinch draw string top w/velcro closure but i tuck all tgat inside and dont use it, also has drain in bottom. These xl dumps are larger than what ur using in this vid, id say double that size you got..

You can kind of see how they were mounted on this setup in this video we did: ruclips.net/video/jmX_1OVlq1E/видео.htmlsi=0EMl8IZS3B-WFAvF&t=46

Big props to you for this review! I have the same two bags and have contemplated doing a similar review. And you did a great job so I can share your review with others and save myself the work. And the two bags can be velcroed to each other around a stem, which is what I did on my Salsa Journeyman (reference ruclips.net/video/TvRvfZiSrfQ/видео.html at 2:51 to see that setup). Long story short, they are very similar bags for a little over 1/2 the cost. Again, good job!

Anyway, I understand it's tempting I comment just to remind myself the qualities of\in what's choice on an aside, I just discovered I think a brand called Lenesko out of Ukraine of all places, found on etsy, ton of choices, quality material ow price. I haven't tested yet reviews great. No prime of course, good cause

I agree with desert.mantis below. If we don't support small american businesses they will be gone. They are the ones that are innovating these products. The chinese just make knock offs using ideas that (in this case) Revelate came up with first. Some Chinese knock offs are decent quality and some are awful. Almost none of them have any after sale service to speak of. I know for my money I do want a good deal so I do look for the best price, but I also factor in if a product is made in the USA realizing that often spending a little more up front pays off in the long run. Plus, China is an anti-american country, the Chinese are raised and taught that America is Imperialist. Bottom line is Americas are innovators and Chinese are imitators.
