Loaded Weapon 1 is one of my favourite 1990s movies, saw it at the cinema when it came out and countless times after on VHS.

Emilio Estevez first established his comedy chops in "Repo Man" (1984). Brilliant and dry as hell.

I probably watch Repo Man a couple decades ago. I definitely should revisit it.

There's so many jokes in this movie that make me say out loud, "That's such a fkn stupid joke.." 🤦 And then I proceed to bust out laughing until I die 💀

Honestly Emilio and Samuel have the perfect look and they really could have been in a serious cop movie together.
This is my favorite spoof after AIRPLANE!, the original Naked Gun and Hot Shots Part Deux.

I think my favorite thing throughout this movie might just be his gun cocking noises.

There's an underrated joke that got ruined by poor shot composition. You see, in the flashback to his crossing guard days, young Samuel L. Jackson is wearing a nametag saying "Wes Luger as a 12-year old". But, and here where the poor composition comes in, when we go back to the present, he also starts wearing a nametag, this time saying "Wes Luger in the present"

I always wondered why in parody movies do cigarettes explode.

I think the best bet for a great movie like this is BASEketball and Airplane!. Superhero Movie is also a good one but BASEketball is easily my favorite, plus it came out the year I was born so ive been watching through out my life.
Its not necessarily a spoof nor parody but I would also recommend HOTROD if you guy haven't seen that as well.
Anyways, great reaction and look forward to see more.

Thanks my friend. Baseketball and Hot Rod are great, not sure they can be classified as spoof, but definitely two movies that are in their own realm of comedy in general. We plan to check out Hotshots 1 and 2 as our next spoof films we'll be reacting to in the future, great films if you haven't seen them. Livingston has seen most things, the first time reactions are Chad typically when you see them on together. Thanks for the recommendations. Maybe Chad hasn't seen them.

Not as good as the old Zucker movies, as good as Not Another Teen Movie, but better than any of the superhero epic scary event spoof movies.
I recommend BASEketball starring Matt Stone and Trey Parker directed by David Zucker.
