Hello Ginny! Thank you! I just do a Google search for picture references and do a collage for placement. Then I draw over it. It's pretty messy so I doubt it would work for you. ;) I suggest you do a search of images that you like (ex. for the position of the bird and the type of flowers..) and just play with it in a collage until you like the result. :)
