Padre Island National Seashore Camping in Overland Rig

- The Padre Island National Seashore just outside of Corpus Christi, Texas is one of our nation's greatest treasures just waiting to be explored.
We took GUARDIAN our North American overland rig out for a weekend of fun on the beach. Met up with some great folks from Trail Team 6 out of New Braunfels and had an incredible time of camping and camaraderie.

Ours too and a stop at Snoopy's on the Pier is a must after a day out at Padre Island. ~ Eric
Isn’t $10 just a day pass? It’s $25 per vehicle for a seven day pass to camp overnight. All one day passes expire at midnight.
I believe you are correct. We have an Annual Pass to the National Parks so we may have misquoted. Definitely encourage folks to look at the website and get the current information. Thanks for pointing that out though. Either way, it is worth $25 to camp out at Padre Island National Seashore! ~ E
Did you only travel full time? How did you get money to travel if you dont work. Sorry to ask. Because i like to try this kind of lifestyle. But a bit worry how to survive with out money

The wife and I went in March we car camped and spend a few days there, we also went to South Padre Island. We also took the trip to Space X which was awesome.

We can only speak for ours. But GUARDIAN has been really good to us. No major issues and we run him extremely hard. No regrets for us in getting a Jeep. It is actually our favorite vehicle we’ve ever driven. ~ Eric

La7Ya 33, thanks so much. That's super kind. We are going to try and not live above our means, take our time, and we have a few sponsors that have gotten behind us. I'm retired military so I have a small pension that also helps keep food on the table and fuel in the tank. ~ Eric
