You Zoomers and Millennials...you can always find an exception to the general rule. The point is, the RULE is different. The game is absolutely softer and infinitely more offensive friendly than it was back then. Period.

I gave you multiple plays strictly on regular foul calls. It's not an exception, it's a legitimate rule (fouling is a major part of the general rules of basketball).
Yes the game has gotten softer in the sense of protecting shooters cuz of the Kawhi Zaza incident that we dont want to repeat and lower tolerance on unnecessary contact (flagrant fouling) because some people take it too far and fight arises which isn't part of the game of basketball (bad boy pistons vs bulls for example).
This is an exception but we all know Jordan admits he didn't like those hard fouls/flagrant fouls bs vs the Pistons! Of course he wouldn't, it's intentional and u can potentially get injured for that. Outside of that, it's usually unintentional, but other NBA players wouldnt like that brand of basketball either. This isn't streetball, it's professional basketball! It's okay to hack hard at times but not add insult to injury. I think that has helped reduce huge fights in the NBA since people can be hotheaded in the heat of the moment.
There are a bunch of uncalled illegal screens and hand checks (which I can give u the link for hand checking). The only pass I can give you are bs technical foul calls which I made a video about a while ago! After that, I don't see the need to go back in time all the time to put it on blast that "if this was the 90s..." in commentary.
WE GET IT! However, nostalgia is a good liar as u see in these clips!

This is just MJ superstar treatment. Kind of a unreliable example. Refs are still refs and we know they favor stars the statement goes more for how frequent those calls were. Of course it also matters what team and what player. Plus I'm not a oldhead, but I can see that the league softened quite a bit. You would at least have to admit that.

I already responded a couple of people and Im aware I should have used more examples and other star players.
I do agree with u that the league has softened for what is deemed a technical or flagrant foul which the technical foul calls go way out of hand (I posted a compilation of some of the worst ejections).
This is was to showcase regular foul calls because people for some reason think u can play street or jail ball rules in the 90s when clearly u cant.
Still, I thank u for the constructive critcism

Oh man the oldheads aren't gonna like this video one bit. You did however make one mistake my guy, you only showed Michael Jordan plays, that dude got the most preferential star treatment out of anybody in NBA history. He's still one of the best basketball players ever, but man did the refs cater to him
