You make a very good point. Yes, some DIY tricks can be fun to try, but in the end, a padlock really can’t be opened properly without the actual key. My intention was more to share the creative process and have a bit of fun with DIY, not to replace the real solution. Thank you for your thoughtful comment!
@RajendraPrasad-kh8dt I understand it may not be for everyone 👍 this is more about experimenting and sharing ideas. What kind of content would you find more useful?
Thanks for watching the video. That makes sense 😂 In many cases, buying a new lock is definitely the easier option; I just wanted to share another way to handle it.
Thank you for watching the video. That makes sense; for many people, replacing the lock would certainly be quicker. I just wanted to share another option for situations where someone might still want to try this method.
Thank you for watching! I’m glad you found it useful. The content is shared for general knowledge and problem-solving purposes only-always make sure to use it responsibly and legally.
Thank you for watching the video. That makes sense; if it's going to break anyway, the direct approach might be easier. I just wanted to share another option.
Thank you for watching the video, thank you so much, I really appreciate your compliments. Which part did you like best? Please subscribe to the channel to watch more videos.
Thank you for watching the video. I understand that in many cases, buying a new one is indeed the most practical option. Thank you for sharing your opinion.
A thief who never knew how to unlock people's locks without using a key has just discovered something new today. And I believe 90% of the views came from thieves
I understand your concern. The purpose of this video isn’t to teach crime, but to show a creative idea for learning and entertainment. Real security always relies on proper locks and safety practices, not on simple tricks like this. I always encourage viewers to value safety and responsibility
I understand your effort, but the process felt unnecessarily long. In fact, I already bought a new lock-it was quicker and even cheaper than the cost of the materials used.
I understand your point, and you’re right that sometimes buying a new lock is cheaper and faster. For me, though, the purpose of this project wasn’t just to fix a lock, but also to enjoy the DIY process, experiment with different materials, and share the idea with others who like to try creative approaches. I really appreciate your honest feedback, and I’ll keep working on making future content more useful and enjoyable
@DavidFriend-y6n I see what you’re noticing 👍 it might look that way from the angle. The idea here is just to demonstrate a concept. What made you think they’re identical?
Thank you for your opinion! You’re right, a regular saw blade can also get the job done quickly. I just enjoy experimenting with different DIY ideas, and sometimes they turn out to be quite fun and useful
I understand what you mean. Sometimes the simplest things are the easiest. But I like to try new methods whether they succeed or fail. It's a process of enjoyment. Thank you for leaving a comment. I will try to do better in the next videos. Have a nice day!
@mariamesa654 ¡Muchas gracias! 😊 Exactamente, la idea es experimentar y aprender en el proceso. Me alegra que lo valores 👍 ¿Te gustaría intentar algo así tú mismo?
Thank you! I completely agree - creativity shines brightest when it’s used to improve life in safe and lawful ways. DIY truly has no boundaries when guided by responsibility and positive purpose!
You’re right, sometimes replacing it is the quickest and cheapest option. But for those who enjoy tinkering, the process itself can also be fun and a learning experience.
Yes, this DIY tip is very useful in emergency situations. However, I think you need to consider carefully and use it at the right time to avoid unwanted risks.
@JuanFernandez-q2i I understand your frustration 👍 sometimes buying new is simply the better option. This was more about experimenting and sharing ideas. What kind of content would you find worth your time?
Sometimes the simplest, most straightforward method is actually the most practical. While some people enjoy the challenge or creativity of trying a clever technique, in real-world situations, efficiency, safety, and reliability usually win out. If the goal is simply to get the lock picked quickly and legally, replacing the entire lock may be quicker and less likely to go wrong.
C’est vrai 😂, parfois on appelle ça ‘tuer le temps’, mais en réalité, même ces petits moments de vide peuvent être utiles pour se reposer l’esprit ou laisser place à de nouvelles idées.
If the key that normally opens it still won’t turn, there’s probably a mechanical issue - not just user error. Try a few simple checks (below). If it still won’t open, don’t force it - call a locksmith or the manufacturer to avoid damaging the lock.
True, buying a new lock is definitely faster 👍. But sometimes people enjoy DIY ideas not just to save money, but to learn, be creative, and have fun trying something new.
@Александр-й8е7жseguro , no se entiende , lo único bueno es lo de sacar la llave rota , pero después , es solo agarrar las otras llaves y seguir usando el candado
@Александр-й8е7ж That’s a fair point 👍 if the original key is available, that’s definitely the simplest way. This was just to show an alternative approach. What situations do you think this method would still be useful?

I don't understand, when you melted the plastic from the pen, and you pulled out the broken piece of key from the lock, why didn't you just use the spare key to open the lock.
“Great question - I didn’t use the spare key because the video was meant to demonstrate a DIY approach and show the process, not because the spare wasn’t available. In real situations, using a spare key or calling a locksmith is usually the safest and smartest choice. Thanks for noticing and for the comment!”
@ΚωνσταντινοςΜπουγιουκο1 That’s a fair point 👍 sometimes replacing is the most practical choice. This is more about experimenting and learning. When do you usually choose to repair instead?
Haha, love the reaction! 😅 You really shouldn’t have to buy a caliper just to open a padlock - if a lock’s being troublesome, it’s usually safer and easier to replace it or call a professional locksmith. My video is more about experimenting and DIY spirit, not encouraging misuse. Thanks for the laugh and for watching!”
Haha fair enough-that’s the fastest solution for sure. But sometimes the goal isn’t just to replace things, it’s to understand how to make them work again with precision. I’m curious-are you more about quick results, or do you enjoy figuring things out and improving them?
Entiendo tu punto. La intención del video no es fomentar nada ilegal, solo mostrar un proceso de forma educativa y curiosa. Cada quien es responsable de cómo usa la información.
Haha, I get your point - it really does look like it takes way too many materials and too much time compared to just buying a new lock. For me, though, the fun is in experimenting with DIY and sharing the creative process, even if it’s not the most practical solution. Thanks for your humorous comment, it made me smile
That’s a fair point! Sometimes the process can be more about creativity and learning than saving money. But yes, in practice, buying a new lock might indeed be the cheaper option.
The cat's tip can be removed, it's DIY, while match powder can't open a padlock without a key, so you still have to use a key.
You make a very good point. Yes, some DIY tricks can be fun to try, but in the end, a padlock really can’t be opened properly without the actual key. My intention was more to share the creative process and have a bit of fun with DIY, not to replace the real solution. Thank you for your thoughtful comment!
