    You need to get the diesel heater sorted. It shouldn’t play with your lighting. Diesel heater all night long will use just over 10amps.

    what sort of hotwater service do you have ie if its a dual fuel sort like 240v and gas, turn off the 240v switch when your inverter is on(off grid) as they draw a heap of power.

    As a beginner, educate yourself: Learn the basics of investing and the stock market. There are many resources available online , including books, articles, and online courses. It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research

    IV E got some constructive suggestions
    1. Every time your heater kicked in if the battery is low it caused your lights to dim (it's a maybe)
    2. We've learnt if battery is getting low start conserving power , less lights no coffee machine no straightener, no hair dryer, no starlink, especially turn the inverter off it runs the Battery down by just being on
    3. If you have a 2way fridge run it on 12 volt not 240 sometimes they don't switch over if inverter left on.
    You mentioned in previous shows about bearing problems can you explain the problem it's driving me mad.
    I hope you take this as helpfulness as is ment to be

    • @thatfalzonfamily
      @thatfalzonfamily  Год назад +1

      yes I did ok sorry I took it to top end in cairns to replace the bearings and they left the dust drivers side dust cap off and the passenger site disc cap fell off half way to Brisbane

    FYI, 5Ghz will be better in every way for you in the van except for how far you can be away from your modem router. 2.4Ghz = Less bandwidth but more distance / less susceptible to interference, 5Ghz = More bandwidth but less distance / more susceptible to interference.

    • @0xChristov
      @0xChristov Год назад

      ALSO! The 2.4ghz / 5ghz freqs are only relevant for your connection from your device (laptop for example) to the wifi router / modem. It would be good to test your starlink speed not over wifi, try a cable straight into your modem to get actual speeds regardless of wifi performance.

    • @thatfalzonfamily
      @thatfalzonfamily  Год назад

      so by looking at the speed I'm getting is it good?

    • @0xChristov
      @0xChristov Год назад

      Based on the starlink website: "Starlink users typically experience download speeds between 25 and 220 Mbps, with a majority of users experiencing speeds over 100 Mbps. Upload speeds are typically between 5 and 20 Mbps. Latency ranges between 25 and 60 ms on land, and 100+ ms in certain remote locations (e.g. Oceans, Islands, Antarctica, Alaska, Northern Canada, etc.). These speeds make Starlink suitable for streaming, video calls, online gaming, and other typical household internet use."
      I think it will take a while to upload a video with your upload at around 6mbps from what I saw in the video. Depending on the quality of video of course.
      The download was good at around 100mbps initially but then around 60mbps when you showed again..

    I reckon you should eventually get yourselves a baby Weber bbq. As well as being a bbq, you can use them as an oven. They are great for cooking whole fish, pizzas, roasts, cakes etc.

    Is it stressful living off a battery and solar for power?
    How do you recharge to 100% if it’s cloudy out for long periods

    • @thatfalzonfamily
      @thatfalzonfamily  Год назад

      yes at the start it is but now we got the hang off it so we like it, have you been in a van before?

    • @alishabab3
      @alishabab3 Год назад

      Can charge via solar on cloudy days if the panels are linked in series. High voltage means better power off cloudy and overcast days. That's why all house solar is in series.
