I added a belly pan, highway pegs and a Windshield I liked... I'm in the process of getting a BT Moto Stage1 tune done, I'm waiting on a suspension de-coupler and steering tie-rod from Traxxion Dynamics.. This should do it 😎

Okay let's just get this way out first, I have never owned a gold wing, but I have driven one. This is why I dig, your channel you just keep hitting the nail on the head! Exhaust sound improvement would be simple, you could just install a flapper on the exhaust that opens up and give you a really good. 165 horsepower sounds about right to me, with a 14000 Red line. So right! All brands are pricey these days. All great in their own right. I love my ultra blue 22 DCT Airbag Gold Wing. It’s decked out with lots of safety lights. My excuse for having lights. It works too. They do see me. Can I say the DCT has spoiled me. Quick off the line and stops on dime. It looks pretty darn good too. To each their own. Ride what you like. They’re all great. I paid $32k in 22. I have no complaints. I’m grateful to be able to ride this level of a motorcycle for fun and adventure. As it is a luxury. Riders might be better served if they just waved to each other as they passed instead of being so stuck on a brand. Because at the end of the day and in the parking lot we end up saying hello and talking for hours anyway. Just knees in the breeze and miles of smiles we all are. Deuces!
I pretty simple, I would buy the base model, just don't need all that extra, The only thing I would suggest, not sure if it's a big thing or not is a rear mounted reverse camera, in reverse gear or not, maybe a separate switch then turns on the screen . ex. tight parking spots, curbs, etc.
Seems like you want a FJR or maybe an actual sport touring bike like the ninja 1000. The wing doesnt really need more power in my opinion, also sportier suspension means a harder ride, sportier tyres mean faster wearing rubber. And adjustable mirrors seem kinda wasted to me, it adds weight and cost.i dont need to adjust them, and if i do, they are right there. The bigger tank seems useful, but i think that Honda would have dont that on the bike if it was possible. Better screen, unique color and maybe something like better speakers seems more likely.
What great ideas. I have a fair amount of money and I just can't justify 42.5. 35 I could be in the market. If Honda doesn't jump onboard maybe you could become a custom builder.
Good video and comments. I am thinking that the current Goldwing is pretty darn good at an already decent but too expensive pricepoint. Unlike Indian for example the Honda accessories options are very limited. Essential needed accessories are the belly pan (that allows oil changes without removal) and real working front and rear crash bars in chrome or black that prevent destruction of all that plastic during a real tipover. The front crash bar would provide many highway peg options. An easily removable topcase accessory and mounting plate would be great for the Wing bagger. What do I really want from Honda? I want a Sport Goldwing DCT with a 4 cylinder motor improved from the old CB750 and a wet weight of about 550 lbs and a 5-6 gallon gas tank (KTM1290SA can do it). The body layout and suspension should be like the current GW with the weight down low. Pipes have to produce a growl howl during acceleration. Lots of options for a topcase and luggage and options for real front and rear crash bars. In other words a lghtweight GoldWing S (Sport) capable of long distance sport touring. Oh and the price, $19,599. Can Honda do it? YES!
Easy detachable tour pack ✓ 165hp, meh. I personally wouldn't need it, getting too old for that. The same for louder pipes, don't want 'em. Limited edition could raise the price too much and lose potential buyers. Floorboard option a must for me. OLED display with a decent brightness level. 100 watt sound is enough considering how quiet the engine is. Do you think a narrower center console would still be glove friendly?
The HD CVO pictured with all add ons comes in a $45K. Local dealer has the exact one for $10K off sticker, 10 miles. I'd still buy the Wing. I do like those cast/laced rims though.
More reliable gas door release mechanism. Better tip over protection. Definitely a skid plate. Honda needs to work with Max McAllister at Traxxion Dynamics about those.
As a prospective buyer slowly circling a new bagger (2025?) a belly pan is a no brainer more power is not a priority for me neither is exhaust sound Speakers are superfluous and couldn't the space be better used? Upgrade the nav package Radar upgrade for cruise control and hazard warning Electronically adjustable mirrors could be button overload but interesting Foot pegs as an option only Detachable back seat/trunk ....maybe Bigger tank would be nice but don't kill the lines of this gorgeous machine Same with the panniers please don't make the bike "bulbous" Finally I do wonder what a stripped down version would look like with no fixed panniers to highlight that enormous rear tyre, an upswept exhaust, full sports tourer mode with the suggested power increase and related suspension, brake and tire upgrades. (I doubt I would buy one but it would be something to see.....maybe as a second bike???)

Never cared for the Goldwing. The seat position is just not that comfortable and the footrests/pegs are too far back to be comfortable. And honestly, I've always thought it's about the ugliest bike on the market (especially the F6B). I bought one about 3 years ago, rode it one Summer and got rid of it. My least favorite bike I've ever owned.
I say Honda isn't going to do crap. And will go out of it's way to keep the Wing the most boring touring bike on the market. Our 2018 Wing Tour 6MT is a good bike. But boring as hell with very outdated tech in the navi/audio system. Under powered. So our Wing has been named wife taxi. Wife likes it,,, so I keep it. I have a MT-09 for my solo fun bike and may well get a 2024 K1600 GT as a touring solo bike.

not a fan....... regular cruise is fine but that adaptive is too intrusive in my opinion. slows down to early etc. not perfected just yet.

big tft screen .beyter suspension. i dont think this gen GW WILL revolution so fast may still need a ten years 😂
